The team has 34 Raiders players past and present although most are backups, I agree. No Legends (and zero Bo Jacksons!) though so that kind of evens out. Obviously I can't start 83 Kolton Miller or have 2 of my 3 starting CB's at 90OVR or 88OVR Epps…
Chiefsfan91 said:firstly... raiders theme team is beyond juiced so not too hindered vs comp teams.
secondly... you have like 10 raiders.. tt would be legit 45-50 chem. not to be rude or anything. just saying.

I play a Raiders TT. Or at least one that is as close as possible without using Legends.

https://www.mut.gg/24/lineup-builder/92759be7-10c7-4f67-800d-88e238c3bcd3/

I win enough games to keep playing with it. 5 or 6 Superbowl wins I think?
Chiefsfan91 said:i dont think you can play competitvely with actual theme teams... your at least at a huge disadvantage all game without knockouts and the top abilities everywhere
Re: KOs are Overpowered

I mostly play CFM and we removed X-factors etc from the league completely. Alongside a few other rules to force players to play a straight up game, it makes for a much more enjoyable experience. If my reciever has 99 cth why is he dropping 5 balls a game.
EA has completely lost me from any future purchases of Madden until they remove abilities and xfsctors nonsense. This reminds me of COD Advanced Warfare. It didn't work, do as they did and reverse course. I'll be playing NCAA for dynasty mode thank God.

DDA or the "Competitive Balancing Algorithm" or whatever you want to call it... is not a panacea for bad (let's be nice and call them less experienced) players. It just tilts the playing field a bit to keep little Johnny in games longer and feel like he can compete. This keeps him from quitting MUT and might even entice him to talk mom into letting him use her credit card to improve his team. That's what the EA patents refer to as "maximizing player engagement". It doesn't take much. A few crazy blocksheds or fumbles or an overthrown balls or my personal favorites... those "throw out of sack" interceptions on some big downs.
...and for those saying "...how do some players win 50 games in a row if DDA is in the game?". They are either an elite level player or more likely, they're running some OP schemes (cheese as some might say) on offense and/or defense that overpowers any advantage that DDA might be giving their opponent. DDA definitely has it's limits.

Re: Will Madden 25 be worth it?

I'll get it around October. It'll be half price and it'll take a fairly short time to be ready for H2H. I'm NMS but will have a decent side after a few weeks. For the $30 odd it'll cost I can look past all the usual crap just about.
Played a guy last night. 1 play on offense the entire game. Fair play to him, he knew every route and I just couldn't stop it but that's not how real football works. I control 1 player on D and need the other 10 to do their job without having to fly…
phatalerror said:If the game emphasized coaching and the mental/physiological aspects of football, Madden wouldn't be a game where you go for it on 4th and 12 from your own 39. Fatigue would make sense, and defenders wouldn't be gassed after the first five plays of a first-quarter drive.
I can mute toxic players. It's EA's fault for giving us a game where your opponent can spam the same three plays with three inputs, and I have to prioritze twenty pre-snap inputs and then hope a guy will jump a route like I know he needs to. Therefore user interface is a close second.
