I definitely feel like EA has thrown in the towel because i just don't think there is anything they can really do to fix what they created unless they change it drastically and we know they won't do that.
From what we have seen so far, i don't think they had any intentions to go all out in a "make or break year". Just too many lazy promos and bad decisions and i really don't know if it is fixable anymore.
