I think the math is best to quicksell 98s, but that might have changed. You could also really be a degenerate and roll training for SR players (maybe pop a LTD), then roll those into eggs. Those rolls are horrid though. I went through 4 million training and got 2 95s (no 98s/LTDs)
I am in a similar boat w/ being done w/ MUT. I will still roll squads w/ the homie, but outside that I'm done. With the way releases are right now, the team I have (combine/SB) will be viable until he's completely done as well. Then I'll sell the team and rip packs until the counter hits zero.
I'm trying to get the hang of MLB....it's going to be a rough start. I can't hit to save my life :)

And yes, this year the ball trajectory is lower than past years. Even with high-balling. I noticed it right away. And...we all know it isnt smart to throw lob passes in MUT. It will get intercepted or KO'ed, especially at this time of year. However, I am so used to making many of these passes over the middle from high-balling in 23'. The biggest thing is the WR is open....just the low throw trajectory makes it much more susceptible. Not sure why they changed it.
