Getting that sub lb in a middle third and pass committing (many times adjusting over the top) solves a lot of one play beater issues.

Then you can focus on guessing with your user and trying to get your zone drops right in the flats.. and the dline eventually has to get some sheds.. Mix in some unique blitzes from the same look and it works well.

I typically play this shell defense, and then switch it up in the red zone, where 'over the top' isn't an option. I think that's the safest/smartest way to play defense this season on next gen.
