I'm trying to unlock one step ahead on 99ovr Ryan Neal, I got mcv to 99 using the bears Coach strategy item and it shows it in his attributes page but it's not letting me buy the upgrade. Is it bugged or am I not supposed to be able to buy it?

even if you use a strat item to get him to that threshold, he won't get the ability. If it is locked, it stays locked no matter what

Why would they include tackle supreme, bench press, and one step ahead and put the stipulation if you can't unlock it? That's annoying lol

right, EA does things differently like that. Always reminds me of those tiktoks that have a really weird glitchy gameplan than the EA logo pops up and goes "E E E, EEEEEE"

Ultimately, what Nick said is basically spot-on. "EA Logic" has taken on a meaning of its own. Our expectations are so extremely low for this dumpster fire of a game, yet somehow EA continually disappoints each and every single year. It's almost as if they're re-sellling us the same broken, buggy ass game each and every single year with barelly more than a roster update.
Oof. But the free market will deliver us a ton of great NFL games to choose from, i'm sure of that. Right? Riiiight? Double-oof. Not sure things could get much worse. At this point throwing up my arms and simply walking away is about the only solution we're left with. Or we suck it up and continue to pay for the privilege of this wonderful experience.
