Anyone have any insight? Their schedule said "Tuesday or Wednesday" and that is all I have seen. I was assuming it would be today (Tuesday) until I saw that.

Their content schedules never specify day, so not sure where you saw them say Tuesday or Wednesday. Since we didn't get reveals last night it won't come out until tomorrow.

While this would certainly make good business sense, that's not EA. Your hope is giving them way too much credit.
Last year last drop was new years day so I'm guessing tomorrow
