How can he he said he’s a teacher/life coach. He’s apparently to delusional to seek help instead he writes a thread to give him an ego boost.

A life coach? Imagine someone who needs confidence from strangers on the internet coaching your life? He should be ashamed of himself and he should show his "students" this thread to show what a joke the entire profession is. A "life coach" telling people to go to therapy is fucking hilarious. Guy contradicts himself in every single post. Hey man, let's just be happy that we aren't him.

Totally agree with you
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same
IKeys said:I've got time today for you guys who either can't or WONT read throughly...
I mentioned my years trading Forex ONLY to say it taught me not to blow my entire account on trades... Meaning I always held something in reserve in case the market crashed against me. I literally typed that in the same sentence but ALL you got was the Forex/Stocks reference.
Cause YOU have decided something can't be done so you NEED to disprove anyone else who tells you it's possible and that THEY have done. In addition to 100s of others.
Contrary to what many of the whinnies here are saying, it's NOT a flex to me that I've done it. Cause SO MANY others have done even better. I referenced the discord I'm on cause there's a community of ppl literally doing what u call impossible.
It's not MY discord. I'm not even a mod or officer on it. I'm just an old geezer who enjoys exchanging ideas with the young guns there. And also exchanging tips with them on what potential investments to make or when to bail on action plan with a small loss as opposed to a huge one.
If you believe something can't be done, then you're correct by DEFAULT
Nobody is here trying to tell you these things CANNOT be done. I'm saying this isn't something that a casual player is going to stumble into (earning tens of millions of coins) at a mere 1-2 hours per day. Sure, iJoeBruin has a vast community of kids who are focused on working the auction house / markets. I'm here for "simulation" fatball, not to earn a MUT Economics degree. These kids turn this game into a bad job. For iJoeBruin this is literally his job, he's hardly a casual. Thanks for taking time out of yer busy schedule to respond, but i would encourage you to go back and re-read through things slowly and carefully and ask questions if yer still struggling to understand.
I will repeat one more time for clarity and emphasis -- nobody is saying these things CANNOT be done. The push-back is due to the misleading bits about how it's possible to achieve tens of millions of coins playing just an hour, or two per day. That's hardly enough time (especially for a newer player) to learn the basics of the game, if that individual doesn't already have a decade of Madden experience under their belt.
You've stated plainly that your goal is to build the best team available. Basically proving my point here, that it's not feasible to both build and USE said team in any meaningful capacity when limited by time, money or other resources. There are no shortcuts. I'm happy for you and wish you continued success into 2025, however you may define that.
If you could take a brand new Madden player and help them compete at a high level at just a couple hours per day, i would be ridiculously impressed. Not impossible, just unlikely given the constraints you have set. Most people aren't going to be the 1% of folks that beat the odds and somehow manage to succeed. That's the exception, not the rule.
IKeys said:I agree with you and NO ONE said we were heroes. If you read my OP, I mentioned there are MANY guys who are doing MUCH greater than me.
The post was a response to the constant whining on mut.gg and Twitter/X about how the only way to be competitive is to spend racks on packs. So if that's not you problem, just wave and move OR contribute to the discussion about how struggling NMS/LMS/AMS players can build coins ( I specifically invited this in my OP).
But for the love of all that is good, we don't need anymore whining about what the definition of NMS is and how anyone else is attention starved.
Aiight... we done here?
By your own admission, you are NOT competitive -- you're basically spending this time to post on message boards about yer squad, but don't have any time to play or use this "competitive" team in a real live setting, such as Ranked play or MUT Champs / Gauntlet, or heck even squads -- what is your favorite game mode to play?
I just went through the Top 200, or so accounts on the MUTgg Binder Leaderboard... can you help me figure out where your name is on this list? You don't see dudes liek Odog running around here trying to boast about their accomplishments. Dudes who are at the top, or best of the best, walk softly and carry a big stick, so to speak. The mere fact you feel compelled to come here and humble-brag is a clear indication that we're potentially overcompensating for something. What that may be, i won't even wager a guess, but probably should cool it, especially with telling other dudes to seek therapy. Projecting much?

Happy 2025. Gosh, what a busy guy you are, we're all so fortunate you took a few minutes out of yer hectic holiday schedule to bless us with knowledge about some Discord server that exists, where all this secret wealth and power can be obtained? Why didn't we think of that.

Dude, that kid is getting completely owned in his own thread and just keeps going on and on. It's hilarious to see.
And yeah, he told me to seek therapy lol. Meanwhile, he's on a message board literally screaming for attention. That's what happens when you have no power in your real life, you go online trying to get the attention you seek in real life but it never works.

1. My post was about BUILDING a team not teaching a new player to be Henry or Cleff... I'm no Madden coach but I'll hold my own with the average player.
2. I AM competitive. I play H2H in Legends and narrowly missed out on a SB last weekend. But part of my approach is that I dont plan to have a competitive team before December every year. I use that time to learn the nuances of THAT year's Madden and develop a scheme (while building coins). Bcos I only have about 2 hours per night, I dont have time to lab for hours so I usually become comp around December (which is perfect for Zero Chill).
3. I had a 96 OVR squad before selling off my team a few days ago because I knew the market was about to drop. Believe me; I did not play ANYONE and think there was a team gap. I'll attach my binder history below. Of course part of my strategy is not overpaying for stupidly priced cards when a much cheaper one is just as good or better.
4. Those 2 hours a day are enough for me to do about 2 Solo Battles and 2 H2H games. Plus invest in cards and/or sell. I don't sit on the filters, I come looking for specific cards I expect to be lower on certain days and at certain times of the day. Then I post the ones I have already bought and expect to rise.
5. You keep talking about a 1%. Then the other whiners accuse me of believing myself to be part of the 1%. Ive said several times that I'm currently in a discord of guys who are almost all better off than me. So it's not a 1% club then is it? It is quite easily done and I can practically show anyone with 2 hours a day how to do it.
I gave some examples earlier on in this thread. Let me be more specific. The card I kept flipping was 93 OVR Team Builder. I bought and sold him about 12 times for an average profit of 140k (in 3 weeks). Do the Maths. And that was just ONE card. Another simple one? Every weekend, buy new Legends Champions and highest set pieces... Then re-sell in 48-72 hours. Or hold till Early Friday (don't wait till Saturday or they drop like a stone).
I have strategies for new beginners but wont share those here as they will bring too much competition for the noobs I teach the game (like my 2 sons) but I'll just say they're sets... (cough cough)
It's REALLY simple and when I first heard someone say this to me 3 years ago; I didnt attack or malign them. I reached out on Twitter and humbly asked questions. They amswered and I'm forever grateful. Cause that year; I had already spent over $500 on the game after getting banned for buying coins before that. Now I can use that money on something more tangible than a game AND STILL have a great time/field a great team.
Have a happy New Year
PS: I'm only attaching my binder for those who say it can't be done. Not for the sages who have figured out I'm apparently attention-whoring.

No I said I STARTED doing that. I quickly moved on as my account grew. To buying a team on Monday/Tuesday and selling it on Friday/Saturday. The eventually to investing in cards when their promo drops then flipping them 48 hours later. Then to buying LTDs and selling once they're out of packs, etc...
Like everything in life; you start small and grow...

YES! You CAN build coins and /or a great team in MUT without spending money
I'm trying to find the brag in the title... It literally says "YOU CAN..." not "I DID..." Happy New Year
Yall need to touch some grass once in a while

This forum is full of those.
The sad thing is that as time goes on, rather than the Internet being a place where psychopaths with inhibitions can let their hair down, the Internet is a place fueling a real-life culture of exaggerating one's own accomplishments despite one's own adversities.
I actually think the guy was trying to be helpful, but he's in over his head with this one after not acknowledging the inconsistencies in his arguments. And all that's left to him is a choice: Leave silently, and with time people will overlook his indiscretion, or double down defending the indefensible while attacking everyone that disputes with him. And since he's chosen the second, I feel sorry for him, for the consequences are psychologically more damaging.

He's still going on LOL. I've never seen a person get smashed like this and still try to explain themselves. Kid should just take the L. He made a few coins using methods that have been around since MUT started and he's acting like he just discovered fire lmao and he's not even NMS

Very well said. MUT.gg is a great place to share info, ask questions, and have a laugh. But I’d recommend those who want to convince others that the world isn’t round (self-praisers and ban deniers especially) think twice about posting. It doesn’t end well.
