The K and P get S as in shafted. Why the heck after putting in 800 tokens do they not get even one discounted ability. It's the only 99 K and he is garbo. I want that 99ovr. What else is there to do now. So I have to resort to strats to boost my Brandon Aubrey Hepburn
What abilities are even worth using in K and P?

For place kickers the slow meter is lovely, i'm using all 3AP on my kicker, but it can be separated between kicks under 45 yards and anything 45+ (to engage the slower kicking meter). Not to mention you can also make yourself immune to the "Ice the Kicker" effects, but that doesn't really hinder anyone with the slow kicking meter. The ball always travels in a straight line, so no real need for a kicking arrow here, we know what direction the ball will travel.
In terms of punting, i have recently (just this year, during M25 game cycle) come to very much appreciate having the full kicking arc, so i can help zero in on where the punts will ultimately land, which can ensure you pin your opponent inside the ~5 (if not inside the 1 yard line). However, i fully understand that this is John Madden football in the year of our lord twenty twenty-five and kids ain't got time to punt or kick. 4th and twenty-seven from your own end of the field? Go for it. The streamers and comp players have ruined an entire generation of kids who simply cannot understand that Madden and real football are not the same things.

Clutch Kicker (can't be iced) is always nice. Precision Kicker and Zen/Focused Kicker also nice to have.

Good to know. I knew about a few of those abilities, but never really paid much attention to them. Great info as always.
