That's just all I expect my TE's to do. I run a lot, so TE's block alot. run screens, like to use WR's in motion or stacked routes to create confusion on D. My TE's and RB's are almost always safety valves or short/mid basic stuff, so yes, that's it.
I mean, I'm legit curious. I play plenty of other dudes. I don't see many guys doing crazy shit with their tight ends that requires a ton of AGI/COD. Even guys who use TE's in a heavy passing attack. I just rarely see much more than single move routes like crossers or deep corners. If you extrapolate and talk about what you're doing that the stats being low makes more difficult, then I guess I can see it why he wouldn't fit someones scheme.
I just don't play ultra sweaty. I'm not out here throwing my TE streaks and trying to put their safeties on spin cycles or do crazy stick work. I save that effort for my shiftier guys. I don't think thats crazy.
