Why does my game act like its the first time I've ever played it?

For home tonight and booted up madden and it was like the first time playing it. I had to play the legacy game again though I just quit to the main menu. The tutorials would pop up and all my plays in my playbooks show that I've never picked any of the plays before. Its no big deal cause it really doesnt affect anything but the same thing happened Last year. It would be like I'm just starting out playing when I've already been playing for awhile or however long since the game dropped. Probably just some reset glitch or whatever. Luckily I still have all my coins and my solos or levels didn't reset.
