Why do I struggle against bad players

Good day, everyone

 I’m only making this topic because I’ve   been involved in so many games where my opponent is sitting on his D-line or just spamming a run  play all game and for whatever reason, these are the most difficult games to try to win  which either results in a field goal at the last second of the game  or a Touchdown or a loss  yet playing somebody who is very good is somewhat of a different experience  where even if I lose I notice that the reason  why I lost  is because of a certain blitz, I can’t stop or play that I can’t stop, but I can’t say the same when playing against someone who  obviously isn’t good.   What is it with these types of matches? 

If anyone has similar experiences, please shine some light on this situation.

maybe bc you're not good at defense and you just run the same defense that stops "good players" that run meta offense.  if you critically think and adjust then you might not lose.

what if the bad players are actually the good players bc they see you don't know what to do and are just going to continue to run the same play until you call the right defense?

i played a guy and ran the ball every single play and beat him 24-21 and he messaged me that i sucked, but i played with good clock management and he never once got out of quarters defense.

 Well you could be right, I don’t think I’m that great of a player but I’m pretty decent but I noticed some kind of pattern here where i can tell in my range the difference of who’s good and who’s bad also i don’t stay in one play  formation on defense  all game.

Sooo. Bad player = run the ball and user a DT? And win the game. Got it.

 So I think you’re not understanding what I’m trying to say so  let me try again 

 What I’m trying to say is that the games that I generally play where I feel that the player is good whether there’s a win or loss I can determine why I won or lost Maybe it’s a certain blitz or defensive package I’m up against or certain  play on offense that i can’t stop but what I don’t understand is when I play somebody  obviously not doing anything in the game and having the CPU pick a defense as well as sit on the defensive line and then on offense mostly runs the ball gets some crazy pass plays completed when in 3rd or 4th and long situation are the games that are the toughest  to win.

Yeah I once heard 'you'll stop a good and bad players offence the same amount of times' and its so real esp this year like yeah if ur playing someone whos not good my advice is just to branch out in formations different play types and don't overthink it you probs wont be used to seeing the defence they run either bc its not meta they might even be in coach suggestions so just experiment with stuff

Sometimes you just get agg'ed repeatedly on defense, and/or your guys don't catch picks, and there's not much to say about it. It's just the game and it's bad luck.

On the other hand, maybe there's an up and coming META you're not aware of. If it keeps happening across games, that's probably your answer.

I'd look into that run play that's gashing you and try to understand why it's happening. There's usually a user gap shoot to shut down any run.

 I hear ya ,  i get what you’re saying but again I just lost another game like what I was saying earlier 

 I stopped this guy finally on fourth down  and my 90 overall WR  gets a catch that would’ve ended the game but oddly he gets hit sticked by the cpu that lands into a DB’s hand which I’ve rarely seen this year then he runs it back for a game winning TD in OT
