Why do people play this? There arenext to no rewards, you get a few coins (once only  when first reaching a new level)

Its also SUPER sweaty compared to h2h etc. is it just for Isiah simmons? Thats what i was trying yhis out for, made it to elite 2 or something before i suddenly lost every game since and have been demoted multiple times. 

 Ill save myself the headache and buy an equally if not better user for a fraction of the price when theres a dozen of them in a week or two 🤣

Tell me H2H which isn't sweaty? :)  Every mode has almost same amount of people who only care about winning and cheating rather than  actually enjoying playing.

I assume that it's more sweatier now when it was at the beginning. I went 23-8 early for Simmons and games were fun.

This is still only H2H game mode were price is guaranteed and achievable for everyone.

Its unplayable lol just tried super bowl and sos that (plus apparently half the games dont count sp ypure literally wasting your time) h2h is def better. Sure you have SOME bad games, but these are every game. Anyway I'm turning this garbage off. Havent won a game in like a day and a half. Like 7-10 straight losses, and not to be THAT guy but yeah, all or most were rigged ea bs. 

Didnt even finish most of em they were rage infuced quits. I dont have strong enough words for how severe the vonsequences have to be for EA for this. The game literally steals money and time year in and year out (several times have literally been what would be considered theft/larceny or fraud, and no one holds them accountable. Lol what a joke.

I wish they would do ranked for squads.  Too much stuff for solo's.  Some of us only play squads for h2h and we get screwed on the rewards. 

I"d love to see Six on Six be permanent with way better rewards, that's the most fun mode they have put out in years.

Ranked mode probably guarantees you the highest coin per game ratio, not just wins but even losses. 

It is possible to hit 3100 points, which is the max champ level tier 3, in 40 games total.  You will have earned around 500k total just from the rank rewards plus a player you can use on your team and not earn or buy anywhere else who will QS for 100k when you're done with them. 

I don't think any other mode averages over 10k per game played, including losses. 

The other big coin makers if you are good are Champs and gauntlet for a coin per win ratio from being able to auction off the reward you earn.

Ranked is about the best H2H out there for pairing and coins as stated above, so objectively I believe OP is wrong.  

That said, can completely relate to the experience of winning a bunch of games one day to only lose multiple consecutive games the next.  I guess this is the DDA or ELO effect?  I can't keep track.  It is ridiculous and can be extremely frustrating.

Good analysis, Sevein. As a pretty average player, I stayed away from Ranked in the early seasons b/c I thought I’d get steamrolled. But the reality turned out (at least for me) that the matchups were pretty reasonable (at least until you get to Hero 3 and then Champion level - which is what it should be). 

The other big perk of Ranked is that your losses count less than your wins. If you’re a 25% win rate player, you won’t lose ground towards progressing levels. Last night, as I was pushing for Champion 1, I lost three straight games (each which is minus 15 Ranking Points). I won game 4 - which was a plus 55 Ranking Points.  Losing streaks in Seasons and Champs aren’t nearly as forgiving as they are in Ranked.

Yep, it's terrible. I got to Hero 1 i think it is for Simmons and that was it. Don't really care for the TE or anything higher. Simmons should be a good sub LB for a while.

Ranked came at the right time, right after ZC ended. I got to hero quickly (four days) and stopped. Simmons is going to be a monster. I would not keep playing for Washington. And for darn sure wouldn't grind for top 100.  I tried last season and they moved the goal post for the legend reward.

Ranked is the sweatiest mode. I can run through champs easy, but I also lose 5+ games in a row in ranked. 

If you don't run the meta, you should at least know how to beat it if you play ranked.

Honestly, there will be cards to rival Simmons pretty soon. Right now I user 96 OVR Derwin and he's a great user. Sometimes I user 94 Pola Mao...even 94 McKinney is a very good user. I stay away from usering LB's...Safeties just seem to be better users.

And if I really want it badly, I'll buy the Simmons card that is sellable

If you can afford to put 96 overall Derwin in the box as a user, then this thread doesn't apply to you. You are a heavy coin spender that doesn't even look at the cards that you earn from grinding.  You can just buy the top card that you want. I bet you can buy all the top 100 cards when they come out lol.

Because Isaiah Simmons will be a top five card in the game and you can get him pretty easily for free.

Good luck finding a 97 SPD, 6'4" USER with 95+ COD and hits the coverage thresholds, while also getting 1AP Mid Zone KO.  There's a reason even Top100 guys are purposely tanking their ratings.

However, your original point remains valid.  This Ranked shit is not particularly enjoyable.  I was late to get into the game mode, barely achieved 2600 for DeVondre Campbell a couple cycles ago, then breezed through to 2900 RP for Jordan Fuller, no regrets there.  Glad i held off and didn't try to push to 3200 for Chris Johnson, can never have enough discounted MZKO players on defense, but eventually more legit Safeties were released.  You might not have to wait that long, these Superbowl cards are going to be absolutely cracked -- i assume ultra-overpowered, on par with MUTmas / Zero Chill, if not even worse.  Saw things liek Universal Coverage and Unstoppable Force are looming.  Similar to last year.

Heck, i wouldn't be surprised if we get an essentially copied and pasted Superbowl promo from M24, with slightly different names/players.  The key is to just play a lot of games, the matchmaking is terrible enough that you'll eventually get some easy wins, which will override numerous losses.  Basically just requires to win 1 out of every 4 games to continue advancing.  It's not the best of the best players who climb to the top of the "Leaderboards" it's merely those who play a ton.
