Who is the best loop blitz pass rusher?

I see a lot of folks are recommending Safeties (or coverage linebackers), however i've been regularly sending four man pressures from 3-4 Odd, Cover 4 Quarters, but this can be set up from a ton of different formations.  The real bitch i'm seeing are the various "disengage" style blitzes, where there isn't a looping defender, but rather a SUBLB coming directly through the B-gap, almost running straight (and untouched) to the QB.

All that being said, i'm a big fan of the 93 Combine players.  They're fairly inexpensive (comparatively speaking), can be easily boosted to 99 SPD/99 ACC and fit any theme team.

You sure max protect works? I’m not to sure about that one. I personally just call play action plays and freestyle hot routes.

Why is it not possible for people to just play the game and have fun? The first 2 months of this madden were awesome. People were rarely playing annoying blitzes, the abilities were not impacting every play, and it was fun to see different cool plays in action, even if you did get bombed over the top by something you have never seen before. Now all i ever see is 3 different plays on both offense and defense with gross abilities everywhere and people not having fun in regular modes. I don’t play ranked as I am an average human being who tries to be a normal member of society. I will never support the hate against EA as this community frankly fuels their actions  never takes a stance on anything.

Here’s a crazy idea Get better at the game and not run broken plays/ abilities. come next year your going be bad at the game since they won’t work or be available

So I elect to say that if you loop blitz, you’re a trashy player and a not-particularly-great human being, and then I move on.

So instead of getting instant diaper rash why wouldn’t you just use correct pass protection and beat the blitz? Sounds like a big you problem.

The fault here lies directly on EA, and it's a two fold one.

First and foremost, they cannot or will not competently patch their game once these meta plays or dynamics are found by the masses, and then copy cat into every mode.  How long has double pass pass defense been broken?  Since launch?  Not a tweak to it.  They have no desire to because engagement apparently hasn't dropped off enough for them to feel the effects.

The second issue is they have continually bled out any way for the NMS/casual/weekend player to amass coins and or players to keep up w/ the team building progression.  Their hope is this leads people to open bundles.  What has happened since the Playoff promo, is they are now introducing these LTM types of modes where a quick run (you can knock out a 9-0 in these new events in under an hour) can generate a decent stack of coins.  I don't have to give EA money, I don't have to mindlessly play the CPU for 4 hours to get a redzone pack, I don't have to stare an auction house screen hoping to flip a card for 20k over and over and over.

EA incentives these modes, and people gravitate to them because its the best, easiest, and most effective way to earn coins.  I don't get mad about how people play it, because it sure as shit beats them paying EA $100 for a 50/50 shot at the most recent card.

Ea won’t fix it because scrub players think they are good using them and have no interest in playing the game like madden wanted it to be a football sim. shouldnt need to jump threw hoops to stop something Ever, but you should know football and what beats something. you all out blitz quick routes should destroy it for a big play. in a dime look run heavy should feast. you press all your players and no safety help a faster bigger wr should have a 1 play td off a go route. It’s not hard to make this game better. But they want people who don’t understand football t play there game and not think. I don’t find it fun doing something that is broken and takes no skill at all

Have to put the blame on both ea needs to be better but a huge amount falls on the players too. People spend hours trying to find Away to glitch the game and not play it like football. Im sure a lot of other games you could find issues if people spent  as much time as madden players looking for that exploit. Then share it on YouTube to get views than the player bases mindlessly uses it. To me it’s not fun to use plays that clearly are broken, and won’t carry over to the next years game and youll still be bad. So to me that is a lot the on the players not just the game. you can choose to play the game the right way and learn to get better that will help you in the long run rather then till a patch or a new madden

If this is your and others opinions (which isn’t inherently wrong), Madden isn’t for you.  There’s no sugar coating it.  It’s best to quit playing now.  Yelling at the 1% of the player base who interacts on this web forum isn’t going to change how the vast majority plays. Change is needed at the source of the issue (EA).  The MAJORITY of the player base is always going to choose the path of least resistance.

I’ve said it multiple times on this forum, Madden isn’t and hasn’t been a football simulation in YEARS. It won’t be a football simulation anytime soon. I would argue EA losing their exclusive license would be the only way real change will happen in that aspect. I still don’t see how blaming a player base solves anything other than maybe making you feel better?  Not sure. The majority of the player base isn’t on these forums, so the majority of the player base isn’t hearing your plea to play more “sim”. Even if were…the majority doesn’t care.

Well first off if you’re looking for a better rusher for your “YouTube taught me how to cheese” defense I would say learn how to adjust instead being a garbage person. Real players either suck and stay that way or learn to get better and adjust properly. I hope nobody helps you.

I don’t see how people throw mid blitz or the 3-4 and 6-1 blitz in with the loop BS.

Usually you only have for or five guys in coverage and if your opponent blocks the tight end and shifts away it is destroyed. Which is a reasonable football adjustment.

At least you are bringing extra dudes hoping for a mistake versus glitching the oline and having 7-8 guys playing zone.

It is a real football concept to run a 7-8 man blitz and keep showing it, but drop back occasionally.

The loop blitz is pure trash.

What a nerd. I will run it down your looping throat.

😂 you definitely a loop blitz and rpo flat read guy. And its two fold the game could be coded better for sure but again a huge amount of the player base has no foot knowledge and want to just exploit the AI. people spends hours trying to find it and than post it On YouTube. than people mindlessly follow it so how is that not because of the players? you do that to any game youll find the weak spot in it but those are the same ones buying packs and spending money so ea leaves it

You are not hearing a word I am saying. This game does not, will not, and has not in ages been a football sim. You can old man scream at yard as much as you want about how ”these YT kids don’t know football”….DUDE ITS NOT FOOTBALL. The only thing related to real NFL football is the names on the jerseys and logos on the helmets. 

You are wanting a community to change how they play this GAME, not based on how the GAME plays, but how the real teams with those names on the jerseys and logos on the helmets play. Do you want me to not yield on a red light in GTA because I might get a traffic violation?

I get your frustration, but your frustration needs to be at EA who has fostered this gameplay (and shown it off to the masses at EVERY tournament), not the user base who a good chunk don’t know football concepts….because….again, THEY DONT HAVE TO BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A REAL FOOTBALL SIM. That’s on EA, not the kid who picked it up to griddy w/ Justin Jefferson
