Good Question. Usually I ask myself three questions.

1. Is there a new promo coming out?

2. Will there be an OVR increase?

3. Are you willing to sell your team and not play for a few weeks?

Since Mut Leaks tweeted out about NFL combine champs being at 96 OVRs, I doubt we will see an OVR increase until TOTY. With that being said, if you have some high end cards or expensive LTDs, it could be a good time to unload them. Im not a financial advisor, so do as you will. 

I sold my Moss for 3.5M. Megatron could tank Moss's price. He could also increase Moss's price as well. Think about it. If only the top 100 players get Megatron, then all of those people who got pushed out of top 100 will want Moss and Wilson, since they didnt get megatron. This will drive their prices up. Same thing with combine players. If those cards do not get discounted abilities that are good, this will keep Cooper Dejean at 3M because of his discounted DZKO. 

I sold off my team. But I am also content on not playing for the next month (or until I can buy a competitive team again).

The choice is yours.

i wouldn’t sell your team personally. too much to lose, not much to gain unless you’re planning on picking up entirely new players and not rebuy any old players. 

Best way to do it is to sell off your high end expensive cards. If a card is basically close to the min for the current OVR, e.g. most SB cards are 300kish now, not worth selling after tax. If your card is way above the OVR minimum, maybe sell them
