For me it’s MUT 12.

-Ghost Tomlinson was a pinball out there breaking tackles

-100 Elusiveness Barry Sanders was one of the best backs all year

-Club 100 James Harrison (100 Hit Power and only 100 released) used to give guys concussions and knock them out of the game quite often (back when injuries were a thing)

-Base Gold Polomalu (99 overall) was an absolute menace and all over the field

Started in Madden 25, didn’t fully understand it at the time as I still wasn’t big into madden, but by the time the next game came I somewhat figured it out, just wasn’t good at the whole keeping coins thing. Have been religiously playing since then. Don’t remember many of the cards from 25 but in 15 Cam Newtons TOTW card carried me for many games, as well as the 98 TOTW Marshawn Lynch

Btw I am talking about madden 25 from 2014

First Madden I’ve ever played, Madden 2001.

This is my second year playing MUT seriously, Madden 2023 and 2026.

Been playing since 2015 myself. I remember we used to have those bronze-elite tier badges, draft champions was fun as well. I miss the old promos we used to have like football outsiders.

The year the packers won the Super Bowl. I remember that Rodgers was crazy. They had sick pro bowl cards and LTDs were numbered and super rare. Was a lot of fun.

I pulled a gold 99 Patrick Willis, to this day prob my best pull ever lol

And of course injuries and players contracts. I think it was the same year, but they had rookie sets that made a ton of coins - had Gronk and Aaron Hernandez and paid a ton of coins, I remember everyone made alt accounts to do the sets. The big rare card was Amari something, can’t remember but I know if you pulled him you were basically half way to doing the set.

They also had college sets and I remember holding on to the Tennessee players for months and it was such a let down.

All in all, way better than today’s game.
