What year did you start playing MUT?

Curious if the forum population is made up of people who have been playing for years or if it’s mostly new players. I  haven’t played a full year of MUT in 4-5 years probably but will still pop in for a month or two around Zero Chill as this has always been my favourite promo.

Comment your first year of MUT and leave a few favourite cards you remember from the year.

For me it’s MUT 12.

-Ghost Tomlinson was a pinball out there breaking tackles

-100 Elusiveness Barry Sanders was one of the best backs all year

-Club 100 James Harrison (100 Hit Power and only 100 released) used to give guys concussions and knock them out of the game quite often (back when injuries were a thing)

-Base Gold Polomalu (99 overall) was an absolute menace and all over the field

First drop. I remember back when mut 10 was first introduced into madden. It wasn’t even released until like January of madden 10. It’s unbelievable how far this mode has evolved.

Been playing MUT religiously since MUT 18. 

First taste of madden was 16, but I only played draft champions and had a quick look into MUT when I got the rewards from DC.

I've been playing since it dropped in 2011.

Some of my Favorite cards were.  Ted Hendricks, Colin Kaepernick, Ricky Williams, Reggie Bush, any pass coverage LB (there are a lot now, that wasn't always the case), N. SUH 32 chem., Kam Chancellor, Reggie White...too many

MUT 2014

Madden 2005

I played franchise a lot in 25 but this is my first year of mut and i started around most feared

2013. I stumbled onto it then and really got into it in 2014.

I remember playing mut when they added it to Madden 10, the one with Polamalu and Fitz on the cover. Usually alternate years between FIFA and Madden. 

My first Madden was 96 on Sega Genesis.

Madden from 2000, MUT from start.

Madden in 1989 (on my dad's IBM PC, with like four floppy disks!), MUT in 2018 with my fifth grade (now freshman in college) son.

Dang I didn’t even know 10 had ultimate team haha. I remember 11 having it but not from me playing it, just others talking about it during madden 12.

How do you feel like ultimate team is now compared to when you first started? Improving or regressing? Just wondering what someone’s opinion would be on the mode that didn’t play the older older MUT’s.

I first purchased Madden 17 when it was on sale after Christmas.  I was primarily playing NHL and was just looking for something different to kill time.  

It was Madden 18 that I started playing regularly.

Since its inception mut10 and 11 were the goats my mut11 team had numbered rookie Reggie bush numbered 18/50 Calvin Johnson rookie TO pwilly Jake long the limited were worth thousands of dollars bcuz they were truly limited 😂

Pro bowl gates was unstoppable this 10/10 golden ticket 99 Charles Woodson was a card they let you turn into a golden ticket if you were one of the 10 lucky jokers to pull him it was a legendary time
