This is the way. After getting involved in Squads, no other game mode offers anywhere near the fun factor, nor competition... which is what the great game of football is all about, IMO.
Make sure you knock out your one flawless 6-0 House Rules run per week, beyond that, not much else to play for. If you happen to have EA Play (it was on sale for $0.99 recently) you could always download a 10 hour Game Trial of College Football 26, although not sure there's any MUT rewards to grind for this year. I could be wrong.
Squads, definitely squads. HOWEVER, random squads can be an extremely painful process -- try to find a couple guys who have schedules that align and play nice with one another (and know their specific roles). Although this can often be easier said than done. Good luck, yer not alone. Barely anything left to play for, which speaks volumes about how poor this game is, overall. We're all stuck on the never-ending hamster wheel, pure hype and speculation and zero substance. Imagine actually playing this game for FUN, egad. Wouldn't that be the day.

Do Rookie Premiere for Madden 26 if you’re buying it, otherwise honestly don’t play and absolutely don’t spend any money

If you’re going to build the Rookie Premiere’s just play House Rules. From Thursday-Sunday I had 5 flawless runs. The first flawless run gives you a token that gets you a Redzone Royale 99 and each flawless run after gives you 2-97+ Redzone Royale players. If you’re decent at H2H it will make building the sets a lot cheaper for you.
