what mut mode do people have fun in

im genuinely confused on if people have fun playing with cheese blitzes and running the same youtube cheese over and over it seems like every time i hop into a game people are running the same thing and it dosent make sense to me because its not incredibly hard to beat and there will be nothing on the line and i just wonder if people actually enjoy playing that way i would understand if it was some tournament or if i was playing ranked but how come everytime i hop into a regular seasons head to head your getting hit the same thing it really cant be enjoyable to play that way its not even liked playing the game but just a play simulator

I have fun playing h2h ranked, I think its great. You dont have to use cheese, just know how to stop it. H2h seasons is atrocious because its on all pro, so the cheese plays work better and are harder to stop.

Yea I will agree with jholiday, ranked is the most fun H2H mode for me as well even when I know I won't have time to play enough games to get the good rewards. 

There are some people who run the same play every time but it's on average I have a lot of fun games where both sides are mixing it up.

For the me fun cycle is based on building up my own little playbook / scheme throughout the year.  

I'll try to maintain 7 to 9 pages of favorite plays out of a variety of formations and then try to also build up my audible packages throughout the whole playbook to keep it fresh.

I use the challenges / solo gauntlet to run practice reps and work on my reads and then try to put into play in ranked.

Solo Champs: Hard is the only mode I truly enjoyed and gave me what I’m looking for when I play Madden but only for the first couple months. It was a challenging offline full game mode that allowed me to play sim football. But… It hasn’t been updated since launch so you’ll never play a team better than 85 OVR.  Now most of our teams can beat these games without even paying attention. I hate the brain rot modes. I can only handle super small doses of online play now. Full games, offline, that make me buckle in and play legit are all I’ve ever wanted. Been a while.

Ranked’s got less of the BS and more enjoyable for me. House rules are fun because they’re shorter time commitments but depends on the rules/abilities activations. This years been garbage for the most part but past Maddens have been a blast. College OT in CUT was fantastic. Great for grinding challenges when it’s semi-fair.

Seems like EA got so many of these guys so hooked on this “keep making coins to make upgrades or fall behind” scam that people just can’t bring themselves to actually run unique plays/schemes or venture outside of the meta. So now we have 90% of the players mindlessly spamming the same exact plays out of gun bunch x nasty every game they play. Years ago the guys who played a lot ran their own schemes and random formations while the newbs spammed meta. Now its completely flipped where its extremely rare to play a stacked team who calls anything but gun bunch x nasty or the occasional gun trips te spammer. The mindless copy and paste me too cheese spam is really bizarre
