HELP...What exactly does Escape Artist do? I feel like it does nothing - same for acrobat

I know it was overpowered a few years ago, I think MUT 23 where it was an ability and increased over the season from 1Ap to like 15 Ap

Now its an X factor and I thought it would be just as good

It literally does NOTHING.  I notice no increased speed leaving the pocket

Bo Nix still gets easily chased down my edge rushers

This ability does NOTHING

I notice no difference when I removed it

I think they nerfed acrobat also.  It just to be the main defensive ability getting 10yard diving ints...now it seems to be nothing

And CPU players can dive without acrobat

I'm new to MUT. This is actually my first year playing it. I've played Madden before, just never MUT. I'm with you. I'm curious to know what the experienced community says. Like you I notice certain animations on players without abilities/x-factors and on the ones that do I can't definitely tell if they're working or not. When I watch content creators for example, they give a lot of credit to passes bring dropped on contact with a defender as a K.O. ability in action, but at the same time, EA said they patched the game a few weeks ago where receivers would drop passes more when contacted by a defender. So how do you know which is occurring?
