I like to run my own kinda stuff. Run what you want.

I like to use Nickel 2-4 and come out as C3 cloud as my base d with 15 yard curl flats and I'll alternate between shading down and up to begin the game depending on what they're doing.  From there, I'll use C4 Palms, over storm brave, and once in a while Tampa 2 as mix-ins with the same shell look.

Works pretty well for the most part LOL

What defense are you running with everyone getting every ability?

I’m probably gonna switch from dollar to 3-3 odd, can be similar to dollar but can do a lot more different things and way better run defense vs iform and single back

I used to run mid blitz but really couldn’t get a ton of pressure. So I spent close to 2 million coins and completely overhauled my defense and switched to a lot of 4-3 Even 6-1 to get more beef up front and now I average 6 sacks a game and win close to 80% of my games. If you want a further breakdown just lmk. Hope this helps 😁

This is the full breakdown, I’ve run this defense since mut 23 and it’s been solid every year:

Personnel and abilities:
CBs: fast with high man coverage, pick artist is a requirement, KOs if you have spare ap but there are usually better places to use it

FS/SS: tall and fast (I have Taylor Mays and Harold Carmichael) pick artist on both, I have avalanche on Carmichael and mid zone ko on Mays

MIKE: this is your user, I recommend using Cam Newton or Ryan Shazier if you can afford him, lurk artist is a minimum, I also use avalanche, mid zone ko, and acrobat on my Shazier 

SAM/WILL: these need to be your best players, they should be able to play coverage and pass rush, I would spring for present players if you have the coins, I’m using Lawrence Taylor and Sean Taylor, both players need to have lurk artist, I also have unstoppable force on both to help with pass rush

D-Line: these can be pretty much any player above a 90 ovr, the free ZC edge rusher with Reggie white on the other side has worked for me, if you’re out of ap don’t worry about abilities but if you have room put on double or nothing

Scheme:

You will use two plays: Sam Will Blitz, and Cover 4 Quarters

Come out in Sam Will Blitz almost every time, unless you’re opponent comes out in an empty backfield. Every play the setup is the same, pinch d-line, slant d-line in, qb contain, blitz user. You can also press and shade underneath if your opponent is running a lot of short routes. Pre play just hover your user over the center. Your goal is to get the center to chase your user without actually engaging in a block. The only hard part is taking away the entire center of the field with your user in zone coverage, and playing lockdown in man coverage. The your fast SAM and WILL will get to the qb fast and the zone is still very solid pressure. I’m probably forgetting something so just ask if you have questions.

I’ve been in the 4-3 Tite Leo all year. I think it has the best blitz scheme. 55 Eagles 30 Ghosts 25 ZC.  I use Under Pressure on my one LB(Campbell) that blitzes. The DL, I was rocking inside stuff/no outsiders on everyone but with the presents players I’ve got DON/Edge Threat on them all too now. Really the blitzing backer gets pressure so I don’t feel pash rush abilities were as important. DBs all have some form of inside shade/one step ahead, medium/short route KO. I have Moss, Carmichael, and TO so I’m also using Bottleneck and Shutdown(TO) plus bench press. I have Cam as my user Lb but you can use any tall fast player. 

I call a man blitz(saw blitz 0) every play unless someone goes through the trouble to house route, block the rb, id the mike, etc to pick up the blitz. If they just block the rb I will run at the LOS with Cam then bail. The RB tries to pick up the user blitzer and the other LB is still free. If the rb is on a route, it’s yours to cover. It’s super effective against 95% of people. The 5% of people who go through the trouble to block it up, it still is effective just not as much. There is a zone version (hot blitz 3) with the same pressure set up. I usually sub in a Lb at the one edge and drop him into coverage if I have to go to the zone. I put both safeties to cover their respective quarters, then user the weak side safety and play seam, to flat , back to deep post crossers. I use this zone blitz for Hail Mary as I’m not getting beat because of a jump ball in the endzone, I’d rather send pressure. 

Long post that doesn’t cover the entire set up but you should get the point. I’ve won every h2h event so far with this defense. Because it’s not meta, people aren’t prepared to block it like mid blitz.  Plus it plays the run better than most blitzes that are meta. Also, you don’t need to be good at switch stick. Only thing you have to be able to do is read the RB quick for the man coverage version so you can start to engage the OL or cover. The other thing is move the players around presnap because I don’t auto flip so you have to pull the back side safety across for certain gun bunch forms but that’s a majority of what you see so you get use to moving people around.

Nothing wrong with using the tools they put in the game.

Most people like to use skill to win, which is why you never see pro players play like this, but if you like winning all-pro seasons games for fun, then hell yeah brother!
