What are you doing with the weekly spotlight tokens and how many do you have?

Im up to almost 70 of them. I already used 25 a few weeks ago and chose Dwight Freeney. I was going to use my tokens but with the overall increases the last few weeks i just decided to stack them. Im waiting on a good 49ers card or a player i need. I dont need any of the new legends released today. I may just keep saving them up. I do like how EA has done these spotlight tokens and am surprised they let us get multiple free good cards especially with the BND S1 set that takes 32 of the other tokens. I do try to get every pack that has the +3weekly tokens for training. What is your strategy for the Spotlight tokens and who have you used your tokens on so far?

If i need smth for my team and theres one of the bnd players that fits then happy days, otherwise im just holding them (i think the '+' is silent on the auctionable packs) im sure they'll add more sets down the line and if not the hero cards are always gonna be somewhat viable for NMS players. Anyone have any thoughts? i feel like they could add like a coin shuffle/training shuffle pack for these tokens if they see everyone is just hoarding them

I'm at 54 right now, the most you can get without buying any of the packs with tokens. Going to do the TOTY set first, then fill my theme team in throughout the year once I get more tokens.

They could definitely add in more ways to use these tokens. They have the set that takes 65 tokens for a toty winner but thats way down the road.

just used 25 of them yesterday on Ed Reed and 5 for the 84 TOTW Raiders MIKE to upgrade Trent Simpson.

I think I have 8 after all of that, probably gonna open up those token packs

i have 112 of them....i will use them on bucs when a buc is ever released since they will stay on the theme team forever.  i didn't have enough when sapp and revis came out and now they are too cheap to waste them on.

100% saving these for higher ovr's later in the year.Unless they release a card i just have to have/Want.Every year i always hold things like this until the last drop of the said program for the higher OVR cards and will do that this year as well.

The question is - will they carry over to Season 2, or are they only Season 1?  I have a feeling a lot of people are going to get burnt if they hold and do not carry over.  More great communication by EA.  Same thing with Season Solo tokens -  are y over or not?

Saving them for a future theme team (because it’s starting to feel like Cowboys won’t be it for all of the LTD’s). As soon as there’s a player with All-32 Team chems, I’ll spend some.

There have been very few champions that have moved the needle. None would have made the difference in Head-to-Head streaks.

I tend to do the same, unfortunately for me I think I still have enough tokens to complete a set or two in madden 25.

Lol same here but i'm done with that game so i wont worry or stress over them myself

I think the fact that a TotY set has already been revealed tells us the Weekly Spotlight tokens can be stockpiled. I’ll earn 33 Solo Seasons tokens and spend 32, and wait to see what happens. As it is, with the Solo Seasons sets sometimes offering only terrible, outdated champions (and duplicates of them), I may end up not wasting anymore time on the Solos after this next week.

I’ll probably save them for the next OVR bump if a real beast drops. Or, knowing me, I’ll just keep hoarding them until they’re basically ancient artifacts… like museum pieces in my binder. Future generations will discover them and say, ‘Ah yes, these were once considered valuable… before they became pieces of 💩
