You finished all of your Solo Challenges? In terms of grinding coins, word on the street is that the CPU House Rules event is decent. Try to collect binder trash, start building sets -- there's a TON of cards available right now, so you can often purchase at or near minimum... just start buying cards, playbooks, whatever you can acquire for 100-500 coins... without trying to turn this into a bad job, there's quite a lot of market work that one can be doing to set yourself up for the year.
It's taken me two full days of grinding to complete all the Solo Challenges, some of those Epic ones were tedious. I'm learning the playbooks, using the time to practice and see what i liek and what i don't, what works for my play style.
It's a fairly low bar, but this is the best start to new MUT season in the past couple/few seasons, and it's not even close. I'm actually having quite a bit of fun, but i love obsessing over the team building stuff. There's a TON of budget beasts out there, you can field a competitive squad from mostly Gold cards, just got into the player database and sort by speed and find something that works for you. Cards that are 4-5k coins are ~84-85 SPD, you can definitely build a full team and get out there to begin competing.
