Weekly Spotlight Training Packs

Each week you can buy 2 weekly spotlight training packs in the store for each of the following:

Collector Series
Flashbacks
Ultimate Legends

Each pack costs 46k training (I think) and contains 3 spotlight tokens and 3 88+ cards for the corresponding programs. (The cost and OVR’s will go up when base items go up)

Right now training is hanging around 1:1 so you can buy all 6 packs for under 300k coins and in return you will get 18 spotlight tokens and 18 88+ cards each week. Even if you pull all minimums and decide to quicksell you would get back 75k training.

I began buying these about a month or so ago and I think I’ve pulled at least 1 card above minimum for each program weekly. With how expensive some of the 91-93 flashbacks cards have been, it probably has the best value of the 3 programs.

Also for what it’s worth, I held some of the 87+ packs that I bought before OVR’s went up and every one of them was an 88+ when I opened them after the OVR increase.

Right now there is a 46k TP pack corresponding with the collector's series. When Flashbacks drop tomorrow, does the current training pack (collector's series) go away? Or does it stay and the Flashback 46k pack gets added in as well?

All 3 should update every week(2 each). The CS packs will stay up until next Monday CS drop.

Thanks. My next question would be how to get training at the 1:1 ratio OP stated? For example, I have yet ro see a 92 OVR for less than 45k (26k TP).

Idk about all that. Personally, it seems like a waste to spend coins on training points.

I just get the Flashback ones as they are the most worth it since the 88's and 91's sell for more than AKA or Legend pieces.

Yeah man! I haven’t struck gold on these yet but I did pull a 93 RG3 a couple weeks ago and sold it for around 250k. Pulled a 93 UL Saturday that was worth about the same amount of coins as I spent on training that morning.

If you go to the “Prices Dashboard” page here on MUT.gg it shows you the current lowest training cost for each OVR. The last couple days were around 0.96. You can click on the OVR # and it will take you to the players with the cheapest training cost in that OVR. Sometimes you have to do some digging to find the cheapest auctions available as I’m sure plenty of people use this feature to buy training. 84’s have been the cheapest training cost for a while.

For reference I just spent 57k coins buying 84’s and quicksold for about 48k training. That’s closer to 1.2 coins per training. I could’ve looked harder/longer and saved a little more coins. I spent less than 5 minutes in the AH.

got a 91 Quinyon out of one while doing this and with two fits for my TT releasing today with Flashbacks, (which I saved to open) pretty pumped. Solid advice!
