What? Draft mode is literally the most fair mode in the game. Random playbooks and random players is great. If you weren’t good at that mode you’re just not good at madden, plain and simple.

I forgot was it the playoff promo or super bowl promo last madden where you had a playoff run to the super bowl it was so fun last year They should definitely bring that back
So, Team Captains is on the Schedule, and I noticed that as of today they can go up to 93, but I am not seeing any new content for Team Captains. No way to earn more Upgrade tokens, no new Captains. Is there something more coming tomorrow?? I can't imagine that the ability to upgrade one level is worthy of inclusion on the Content Schedule.

No, I avoid draft because it's a cheese magnet. Generally the good rewards require winning a sequence of games in a row. Having to qualify by earning items or paying coins increases the pressure to win at all costs. So while there are aspects that are inherently balancing (you can't take your thousands spent into the draft), you are subjected to some of the worst Madden experiences one can have.
On top of that, when I last played a draft mode in MUT 24, I got some horrible pull options (multiple wide receivers and linebackers round after round) coupled with super-unfamiliar playbooks. Having my players colliding with one another because their speeds didn't complement one another with zero advance opportunity to practice was a recipe for aggravation. And then when I did get a shot at a half-decent team, I'd matchup against a guy with players like Roethlisberger with a million critical baked-on abilities, and get absolutely steamrolled.
I agree that in principle, draft should be one of the best modes, and it could be my favorite mode. I'm just waiting for EA to make a draft mode and do it well. But no MUT mode is ever fun when win-x-in-a-row undermines fair play out of the gate.

I think that's all it ended up being, a +1 OVR upgrade to the existing 10 captains.

LOL, so the Captains actually got worse overall. You have to steal a token from an existing Captain to upgrade one to a 93 OVR. Now you can't even upgrade two of them fully.

I thought it was weird that about two or three weeks ago I started earning more Team Captains Upgrade Tokens. Another content schedule screw-up. In any case, if you're keeping the Team Captains on as backups, you can still get up to five bonus chems with a pair of 89's and an 83, or four with a 92 and a 93. And with the next team captains release, you should be able to get three Team Captains up to 89 OVR. Or perhaps by then, you'll be able to earn a fourth chemistry slot on a Team Captains player.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone directing the calendar during the holidays didn't realize that the teams' 17-week schedules align within the league's 18-week schedule. Or maybe some of the content team said, "Bye."
