Steve Hutchinson or Randall McDaniel at LG?

I had the same problem. I have McDaniel but was looking at Hutch. I decided to stay with McDaniel cuz he's got better ACC and SPD plus his AP's are good. Hutch looks tempting with more AP's and close enough attributes but I leaned toward the acc/spd and I think his PBK was better too. When I was going through this dilemma I was pondering selling McDaniel for approx $649-$699K and picking up the freebee Hutch. I passed on the freebee  and socking away some coin. But it was a hard decision.

Why aren't you running both?

One at LG, one at RG?

Even if you have Will Shields, he doesn't have a discounted SP ability.

Hmm I never thought of that. So Hutch and McDaniel better than shields?

Especially if you're trying to conserve AP.

Unless you're a strict theme team, offensive line is one place I would consider using "cheat" (non theme team) cards. 

It doesn't really matter WHO you choose, as long as you have Secure Protector & All Day across all five linemen. Bonus points for Post Up on either both guards, or Center + OTs, whatever makes sense for your lineup.

Secure Pro helps to prevent insta-wins off the snap, All Day helps counter the repeated pass rush moves, while Post Up gives you a chance, even (or especially) against Colossus. And you'll obviously want Omniscient anywhere on your line perhaps even Linchpin if you tote the rock any.

We're in the end-game now stats barely matter. Abilities are everything.

I have captain Joe staley at RT right now, I rock a 40 chiefs 20 vikings team with 4 lions. Staley gets sp for 1, I need to clear an ap for another spot, who should I be targeting at Rt

Ring of Honor linemen are pretty great. I've got Jason Peters at LT and Joe Thomas at RT, because right tackle seems to be one of the weakest positions in the entire game right now.

Feel free to take some inspiration from my roster. I've got five end-game O-linemen. Only three of which fit my hybrid theme team; 40/50 49ers + 20/50 Titans.

Yes but he’s riding the bench. Not sure if he’ll ever see the field. If I acquire another LG to replace McDaniel, I would probably give that a shot just to see how he plays but I place a higher value on my  other positions (i.e. Off line, all Defence, RB, TE’s , FB (then receivers) and finally QB.

McDaniel pancakes everyone, he definitely sees the field in run packages with that honorary lineman and 99 speed

That joe thomas really has me debating dropping Staley and using captain elsewhere
