I finally got credit for the user tackle when I went against an empty set on first down and got a sack with the player I was using from the snap. Then I gave up 11 yards on a 2nd-and-19 run, and didn't get my four stars for that reason.
Next time around, I switched users mid-play and forced a fumble on a hit-stick and returned it for a touchdown. Didn't count.
A bunch of mid-play switches that didn't count. Another forced fumble. Getting all the tackles I need for TOTY progress though.
Switched mid-play and got a tackle on the quarterback when he tried to scramble, but didn't successfully slide. And didn't give up ten rushing yards this time around.
I guess if they can't get simple objective conditions right, one should expect them to fix motion or zone coverage or have option routes run correctly or have Gunslinger not put balls in orbit instead of in the hands of wide-open receivers with abilities that are supposed to make the ball heat-seek directly into their hands. I mean, if you can't program 1+1, you probably shouldn't work on the software engineering team. Just a somewhat outlandish conclusion I've drawn.
