Common low quality EA product
The lag on the menus and updating your lineup are brutally slow. Takes a minute to adjust one single item. I pray they patch this within the next couple hours
They nerf the game every February without fail....Usually things won't improve until April.
I cant believe they aren't fixing this. Even if you tolerate the game play the menu lag makes the game unplayable
No way! It's not just me then! I thought it was just me and I have been getting desynced and disconnected from the servers and losing games left and right. It was a really bad problem for me last year.
One tip I do have though is MAKE SURE, when the game gets really laggy, don't touch anything on your controller until it speeds up, or move VERY VERY Slow with your menu navigation. Trust me, it helps.
I have some tips that I hope will help you a little bit.
When you see the menu start to lag MOVE VERY SLOW or Don't do anything at all until the game speeds back up to normal. If you move to fast, you can overload you and your opponents connection and either cause a desync in which neither of you get assigned a loss or win, or your connection to EA servers will be lost (This will give your opponent a win and assign you a loss.) All I have to say is, be patient with the menu, this will get fixed eventually. I don't know if this happens on Playstation, but I know for a fact that this happens on both Xbox Series Consoles.
Feel free to copy and paste this to spread the word.
Also sorry if I'm being annoying, 😂 Just trying to spread the word and help some people out.

Glad you saw this -- i was about to tag you... i'd been meaning to look up "patch notes" if they even exist. Did EA make their initial, feeble attempt at trying to patch out the obvious speed boost glitch nonsense before they got embarrassed (again) during another MCS Finals? Hrmm. Inquiring minds want to know.
I thought i was just bad and out of practice, but i failed a lot more of my speed boost attempts last evening. Which in and of itself is not particularly surprising -- i'm old and inconsistent, on both sides of the ball, but especially on offense.
Surprise, surprise (to no one), the patch notes are incredibly sparse. Allegedly just a single game-play update, however it would not surprise me one bit if they made server-side changes that are less apparent to us. Something definitely changed, but we'll probably never know. EA probably does not know either. They definitely do not care. A full month of work and their biggest (or only) gameplay update was to fix bot QBs running out of bounds? If i've missed anything, please someone clue me in here.

For anyone wondering, they're HOPING to release a fix for the painfully slow menus "this weekend" (allegedly), according to this source: https://x.com/MaddenNFLDirect/status/2019836537832435850
