Ugh - EA Got Me.

Well, I got the Gronk fever when Unstoppables went live.  Took a shot on the "Increased Chance LTD" bundle for 5750 points.  I did pull a LTD, bit it was Hutchinson.  I sold him and the other cards I got in the bundle right away for a net gain of 1.4M coins and bought Gronk for 1.9M. From a coins/value perspective it's not bad.  

I do feel a little ashamed having spent some real $$$ again and that I've now burned through 2.5M in coins since yesterday

I do have 650K active and 3.2M in banked quicksells (including Gronk's 350K value) so I'm not completely coin poor

Just have to reign in the spending again.

The Patriots theme team is looking pretty good though.

50 dollars+ for one player that will be obsolete in 2 months, let that sink in. Playing NMS is much more rewarding.

Actually it's really not. Nothing rewarding about being broke and not being able to play with your favorite players.

At the end of the day it's about doing what makes you happy.  If adding Gronk to your TT was a priority then you do what you got to do. 

Don't let nms or anyone else make you feel bad about spending.

I do enjoy playing with my favorite players and seeing the LTD logo flash when I opened the pack was fun, even if I didn't pull Gronk.  PatsTrey has a point about spending real $$ on this game and I do try to not spend beyond my usual bundles at launch and now the premium season passes.  I was just in a "F it" - I'll take a shot" mindset when I loaded up the game. 

Gotta have some fun with this game somehow.

Don't sweat it brother. Just enjoy playing the game, however it is you like to. At the end of the day it's a video game and likely a hobby, so just have fun.

If you can't go 21 days without buying another pack, you may have a problem. What i mean is, yes its fun to buy packs but if you don't control it, you will become an addict.

We all have hobbies don’t feel bad about spending money on your hobbies. 

Some dudes get boats and rarely use them. Others get ATVs, guns, etc.

Playing a football video game, if you enjoy it, is an ok thing to spend some money on.

All the NMS people must have way more time than me to keep their coin stack up. Without a companion app, I have to spend to maintain a competitive team for H2H.

That last part of what you wrote is bs. I've done both NMS and MS in different years and I find them both rewarding in their own way.

Your own experience is highly unlikely to mirror everyone else's. How dare people have the option to spend additional money doing something they enjoy and actually doing it, right?

wait, you bought a bundle when you had quicksells in your binder?  why would you spend money when you had the coins to buy him?

I did the same but I kept hutch. Saw him go from 2m to 750k in ten minutes :(
