Hope your "friend" is feeling a bit better.  There's almost certainly better ways to go about this.  TONS of folks are offering giveaways this late in the season... be active in the community, offer to help folks out, your team will come together.

Disappointing, but not unexpected.  Doesn't really make anyone wanna go out of their way to help, when it's so obviously sketchy/scammy and a clear history of repeated behaviors.  /sigh

It's extremely difficult to actually help people out, i was fortunate enough to partake in the Easter Egg pack glitch stuff, so i've been tinkering with ideas for how to give back to the community who has helped me SO darn much, but this is not the way.  Have some self-respect, please.  People see through the bullshit.  There's a fantastic and incredibly generous community out there, but you have got to be willing to help yourself.  This is not helping yourself.

Perhaps start by posting a thread on what you have done, your MUT history, describe your team/roster and ask for specific feedback.  Build some relationships, folks will be more inclined to help if you've obviously been putting in the work and effort and simply lack resources or time or whatever.  There's people out there who are actually sick/struggling and you're doing those folks a real disservice by trying to prey on the kindness of others.  This is not acceptable behavior, IMO.  We all mature at different rates, goodness knows it took me a while, but come on.  I wanna say "yer better than this" but at the moment i'm not entirely certain of anything.

I'm curious what has worked for others, i was pretty impressed with Bobby Hill's attempts across a two+ day period to basically gift his entire squad to folks, with pre-planned times for drops, etc.  I'm still playing and enjoying my 49ers squad since TT Remix promo dropped, but i also want to do a little something to give back to the community who has helped me tremendously as a first time MUT player, starting back in December.  Based on in-game information only, i'd never have figured out a damn thing.  For example, i had to read WizzLe's fantastic post about the Theme Team Remix promo liek 3 or 4 times, at least, before it started to sink in -- and still didn't manage to save me from myself, i quicksold the Glover Quin 97 BND, before i realized how important he was to the 9/9 boosted team bonuses.  /sigh

I'm bad, don't be me.  But yeah, after the Rookie Premier drop, i'll seriously consider trying to help out folks as i transition towards my final decision about `24.
