aye when you said "best" i realize that doesn't always mean best OVR, but when you put Matthews in the convo for best Sam
it threw me off, im willling to give a shot at some point though. Nickel Over is a great defense

There is no pure best lineup because it all depends on how you are running your scheme and getting players to fit that scheme. For example, this defense would suck ass if you ran mid blitz because Atwater and Taylor have such low man coverage ratings that they are liabilities.
However, if you're just playing zone coverage and spot dropping this lineup features a lot of hit power leading to fumbles and probably interceptions, and Clay Matthews is a good option because he's on the taller end of the spectrum for ILB's.
I personally would roll with Hendricks and someone like Derrick Johnson if you're just looking for height + coverage. Or you can always use someone like Adrian Wilson or Kam Chancellor at SUB LB for their height as well.
