I don't rotate them often enough to recommend 3 but 99 Madden and 96 Siragusa are consistently in the backfield for me.

I'm running Haloti, but anyone with free inside stuff is probably legit. Although, if we're being honest here, I just started working a lot of Zone scheme, out of 3-2 Dollar formations with: Maniac, Milk Man & Tank -- basically three DEs for that sweet, sweet X-factor. YMMV. When I run Nickel or Dime, Haloti goes in there.

I wanted to add Reggie, but he doesn't get 0AP Inside Stuff, so kind of a deal breaker for me.
