Vanguard isn't even all that, though..
Vanguard on a lineman isn't a big deal because it won't play much different than nasty streak already does due to both activating on impact blocks which means they'll need to be at the second level either way.

Then why dierdorf and boz so expensive?

Right lmao
I will say Vanguard isn't like last year, but to see people say itit's useless on lineman is silly lmao I have it on all 5 lineman and definitely see a BIG difference and so does my HBs lmao

Because the community ridiculously overhyped that Vanguard ability. They think it's a way to essentially pay for wins, just add a bunch of Vanguards, dive left... dive right with King Henry, rinse repeat. It's wild how so many people don't want to have to actually play fatball, they just want to tap a single button and set their controllers down and still win. Buncha rat finks out there, but hey by all means, do whatever is fun for YOU.
Anyone hyping Vanguard either hasn't used it yet this year, or is just caught in the hype cycle trying out new fun combinations that are finally possible. Learning how and when to engage the elite Spin move is WAY more powerful than any silly Vanguard. It's so stupid overpowered, the fact that some folks haven't even learned about it and others have heard, but for whatever reason are not using it, is strange to me. It's the only decent skill move in the entire game.
And rare cards are rare, EA's pack odds are so tremendously shitty that the supply is low, which tends to keep the price high.
