This is for the people that think Universal doesn't have one step ahead

Im kinda late on this but Zan just made a video about universal coverage. he talks about and shows that universal coverage has one step ahead but people think it doesn't bc route tech cancels it out (one step cancels the route tech too so its a neutral matchup).

so don't put one step ahead on cards with universal, please save an ability slot

I’ve been arguing this with people in the comments recently. I don’t watch YouTube (I’m 40 and play the game however I want) and I’ve known OSA is part of UC for at least the last 3 MUT’s. I’ve tested it myself and you can see the defender light up on the receiver cuts before the QB even throws the ball. KO’s/reactions don’t activate while the QB is holding the ball.

This seems like the right time for this question: Does One Step Ahead (or the Inside/Outside Shade abilities) work in Match Zone coverage?

ikr, i knew this too but some people insist it isnt the case so i put the video for proof

I don't think so, when I add ran match before universal was a normal thing I would gets KOs with MZKO even though they tecnically man up to them
