And that's saying, a lot, this is just toxicity upon toxicity
This house rules is based I'm making back all the coins I lost in the middle of the GT crash
The present House Rules demonstrates the confluence of multiple factors that inevitably led to a toxic head-to-head environment:
• It's May, and the brutally rapid power creep that started with NFL Combine and shifted into overdrive with All-Star Athletes and NFL Draft has driven away the casuals
• The House Rules rewards don't decline significantly over time, and win-at-all-costs ("cheating") players can add at least 100,000 coins to their coinstack in an hour if they don't encounter a superior cheater
• The demographic for this game's player base is largely populated by a generation that believes life's general unpredictability and seeming unfairness justifies a lack of sportsmanship or dignity (Machiavelli would be proud)
In summary, sportsmanship is declining, the current House Rules welcomes cheaters to persist, and the easy wins are extremely rare. Welcome to MUT End Game in May.
Lmao this shit is way less toxic than Showtime Showdown was. I’ve gone 6-0 twice in like five runs and my first few runs were using my near month-old team

I appreciate that. I've gotten a few similar compliments recently on my takes on related issues. The irony of this is that about six weeks ago, I had a lot of people here expressing irritation at my negativity. But there has been a massive shift during the weeks that followed: There's a glaring obviousness about how gravely the state of the game has sunk into the abyss. It cannot be saved unless EA employs abilities never seen before to cancel out the abundance of overpowered abilities pervasive in the game.
It also generally isn't exactly ingratiating for users here to admit to flagrant cheese, and that they'll play that way for several hours over the next three weeks to solidify their coinstacks. There's a couple guys here that did admit to it. And there's a handful of guys in denial, and quite a few that try to philosophize why their cheating isn't actually cheating because their playing the game within the bounds of its coding. But in the end, this game is dying, and there will be fewer and fewer people playing in the weeks to come once all that is left is a bunch of sweaty sweats.
