Luck plays a huge role and it comes down to whoever got a lucky break and managed the short amount of time to kick the last field goal.

I agree the event is terrible. So many predetermined “luck” on the games. Whoever gets ball second half has a huge advantage. Can own the entire second half and if they get one possession in the first half it’s game over. Or just one possession second half and 2pt conversion
