I'm only a 79 with mainly golds and I compete. I'm confident you would be fine with the 82 and selling the 85. It's all about learning the new techniques of the game. Money teams definitely discourage that aspect.

How do I practice defense in the practice area. I swear I can't figure how to play them only offense.

That's in the initial setting before you enter. To flip sides. Just complete the offensive play. Not sure you can actually practice the defensive play, only the set up, as there technically isn't anyone to hike the ball once you flip sides? I could be wrong tho lol.

20/20 are easier to build with backup golds, you may only be using 3 or 4 starters with that TT which can become outdated or no longer wanted. Plus the ability to mix teams togetherÂ
you just have so much more flexibility with card releases by sticking to a 20/20 TT
yeah and cards you could be starting for MONTHS, just gets boring
