After just watching the madden 25 trailer, I really couldn’t understand why they said they were going to delay the trailer but in any event, I still didn’t get anything from watching this other than them using words or “phrases” shall I say to market the game. I don’t understand why they try to hype up certain things like the trailer or say the cover athlete but never address the things that are important. Like improving the gameplay and show us these things
Its the same thing every year. The beta was pretty much m 24.5 with some added animations, better feeling run game/blocking, and DBs make some good breaks/leaping jumps on the ball.

Uggh, i wish you were wrong about basically anything you've stated above. I have yet to try the M25 beta Playtest, but i've secured my place for phase 2 and took a couple days off from wr0k later this week. Hoping to be able to make that determination myself.
Sadly, all this hype over BOOM Tech or whatever the latest and greatest marketing buzzwords that EA has applied here are essentially meaningless. The Frostbite game engine is so ridiculously outdated, i'm not sure EA is capable of truly fixing the massive array of problems this game has, let alone in a single calendar year with limited dev resources. Someday this will be a case study on how and why monopoly power is bad. In the meantime, we're all made to suffer. If anyone is aware of modern simulation fatball, please lay it on me.
EA's exclusive license ends May 2026, so we should begin hearing chatter about what's next, probably before the end of M25 cycle. However, i doubt EA will give up their golden goose -- perhaps we'll get lucky and EA won't renew that licensing agreement with the NFL. I dare to dream, although i'm probably just being delusional.
They say the same shit every year and market it as brand new and don’t fix the things we want them to fix, their answers always create more problems. Maybe this game will be awesome but after that trailer best case scenario maybe another mediocre game like 22 and worst case scenario a trash game like this year

I see that and laughed to, rather than discuss something that is fixed or improved they wanted to brag that Fields was in a position to return a kickoff
I am not a programmer or game developer, or whatever the title is of the person that actually codes the game, but I have read multiple things online that kind of lead me to believe that a huge part of the problem with these games is the fact that they are still supporting the old-gen consoles. They have to dumb down the actual game to get it to work on both old-gen and new-gen consoles. This year we saw some Abilities that weren't available on old-gen, and that is probably the start of them phasing out old-gen, but I think until they cut that cord completely, they can't really revamp the game all that much...........not that they want to anyway, but still.

I agree with what you said. The frostbite engine is what’s really holding this game back, not to mention its outdated.
