I know it's tongue-in-cheek, but the humor is lost on people that spend hours on this game and simultaneously mourn the fact that this game shouldn't suck this bad.

It's better than it has been, and yet at times, it feels worse. The tuning is always a step behind, and there are a handful of cheats from older Maddens that start working again once you reach certain attribute thresholds.

So to answer your question, if Randos aren't running their users around like chickens with their heads cut off, you might have a significantly better defense. Or maybe it's just that the Randos cooperating on offense don't have a clue, and that's why you're winning.

That's why we use discord to talk and communicate. There is a significant amount of coordination and theme team/crystal boost stacking that goes on. Most of our games are still close, one score games but they are 17-20 not 42-49. For example 3/4 people run patriots TT, so if you go build that theme team with gold players, you can load into a squads game under the head coach role and everyone with that theme team will get extra boosts from your team without having to use your players. So you can take a break from the game and come back and not have to worry about not having a good team.

Yes because I want to play with a 13 year old that has no concept on man or zone coverage.

I guess that's a better way to play Squads, and All-Pro Madden on most of the modes leaves us no choice but to control as many defenders as possible. Aren't the rewards boo-boo?
