was running SB Nolan Smith for a while, he was great.
i still have him for 61 but Hunter with colossus is my fav DT, he is insane!

Karlaftis for sure.
Last time I checked his stats he had 137 sacks and well over 200 TFL. I didn't even have him in the lineup for a while. He wasn't very good on the edge. Then someone mentioned putting him at DT and he's been the best pass rusher I've used all year since.

i personally run a Steelers TT, so there aren’t too many options i use. the captain McCoy DT has been putting in work since i upgraded him yesterday…

Been using TC Gerald McCoy ever since he dropped. From 86 to 98, and he has been my defensive anchor ever since. Great interior rusher.

So I somehow managed to get Chris Jones out of one of the 91+ TOTY packs (I've opened 3 so far I believe and not got a 91 at all, how I do not know how, but then I got the worst 97 from the 97 bound pack in chop) anyway he is really damn good, I'm happy with what he's done so far, just super consistent and quite quick for a big boy

Heh, this comment didn't age particularly well. I had such high hopes for Hargrave, was eager to put a speed rusher on the interior with my 40/40 Niners theme team... NOPE. Sticking with Poe and Arik Armstead as my DTs. 0AP Inside Stuff is basically a requirement to play that position, IMO. Using some edge OOP is almost certainly the way to go.

Easily- far and away - Combine Poe. O AP inside stuff. In a separate bucket 0 AP interior threat. In a separate bucket he gets 0 AP secure tackler . In ANOTHER bucket, he gets 1AP : DON, El Toro, D Rally, Enforcer supreme. In yet another bucket he gets 0 AP....eh, there's too many....just take a look for yourself. It's the most insane DT in Madden by far IMO - especially if you play both the run and rush the passer with your interior linemen. Abilities rule the game. Doesn't hurt that he's 346 and boosted over 90 speed with high motor and big hitter traits either.
I tried Chris Jones, Poe's better. Same with Karlaftis at DT, Mean Joe, Hargrave, Vince, Simmons, Perry, 96 Sapp....
And yeah I know he's crazy expensive but I got him the day he dropped when he was cheaper. I did the same with all the Combine LTDs that I didn't pull. I knew they'd go up crazy in price with those abilities. Combine cards are the best cards in the game, including TOTY so far.
