Grats on finishing that. Sorry for late response, I crashed out and slept liek a baby after grinding through 6 full SB Runs yesterday.
I also lost twice, but thankfully games were pretty quick. Even managed to choke my first Ranked Placement game before bed, 22-21 crushing defeat after dude converted 2 point try with 0:01 on the clock. Oof.

Thanks. Yeah i'm starting Ranked today, going for the CB. For my 5th superbowl win, i played a guy with Ogden at QB and all he did was a flea flicker. No abilities anywhere. Then my entire 6th run, everyone had Brees at QB. Not sure if i lucked out but i'll take it.

I can count on one hand how many "even" teams I played against yesterday, throughout all six+ of my SB Runs. Competition was decidedly weak, so now I'm struggling to warm up for Ranked against competent teams.

The BND pack is a head scratcher seeing as the 4 win reward is a full auctionable 95. My guess is EA goofed on the 4 win pack and didn’t intend for it to be sellable.

Yeah lol. I went 4-1 in the placement matches which put me at bronze 2. Gotta get ready to sweat again against these little kids so good luck out there.

I'm trying to motivate, but it's already been a struggle -- only 1-1 thus far after choking my very first Placement game late last evening. Hurts to drop a close one 22-21.
Key is really to just play a lot of rounds. Was checking out leaderboard at end of last cycle and there's a bunch of dudes at the top who have logged 400+ games in the ~28 day cycle. I just cannot compete with unemployment, even if I was winning 90% of my games, which I'm not.
This Ranked shit is for the birds. We'll see how far I make it. After a full day of mostly enjoyable SB Run grind, these first couple games of Ranked were shocking to my system. I'll be oozing cheese out of my ears if I suffer through a few dozen games.
Penix Jr. release is really nice, would be an upgrade over Steve Young.

You're 💯% correct here, took me a month or two to realize none of the games really matter. Only lose ~15 RP per loss, but a single win can be+75 RP, perhaps more.
Hell, I somehow had a seven game losing streak during Jordan Fuller (Chris Johnson?) cycle, but still made it to 2900 RP without issue.
I always hope to play actual football on the virtual gridiron, but these kids tend to just mimic what they see on TikTok.

Yea i feel like it was harder to rank up early in the year. Now it's kind of easy. I'll take it. I was thinking of just going for Penix but i like to switch my QBs and you can never have enough CBs, especially one that's 6'3. I always go for tall players in my secondary since they seem to react more.
