and if you are concerned about a looper, do the same, but call a play with play action and free form your routes

What’s the best blocking setup against the Cover 4 stand in front of the guard and drop back non loop blitz.

I was having luck with play action max protect and sliding protection away from the RB and tight end followed by using hot routes on the TE and RB, but it hasn’t been working recently.

The bastards are even dropping the DT into coverage, so I’m getting sacked in two seconds against an 8 man cover 4 with three rushing lmao.

That hasn’t been working against some people. Not sure what adjustment they are making. They are for sure in the standard Dime 1-4 Safeties down Cover 4 with linebacker straight rushing play.

idk it seams to work for me all the time, i do tend to keep my rb on the right and slide to the right no matter what

the only one i have some trouble is the nickle 3 3 that they you can send from both sides, but i use actual play action and roll outs if i see that

there is a few different ways to exploit that blitz… Play action, verticals, run plays

it is annoying but very very easy to bomb that defence… have to take advantage of the way the safeties cover their deep zone in that blitz. they leave a wide open hole up the seam

ill give you a freebie. come out in verts and put your outside WR in a corner. the middle vert will be wide open deep. the inside vert pulls the safety, outside corner pulls the outside CB leaving you the seam

I find the adjustments to block blitzes are really difficult to fathom but that’s due to the game and EA aren’t going to be fixing it anytime soon so we have what we have.  The stuff about abilities is important but I would also look on YouTube - most creators will have put stuff out there for the popular blitzes by now.
