thank you! Will be doing a defensive adjustments tutorial this weekend probably
It's completely a glitch, that cannot be disputed. It breaks the laws of physics to accelerate unnaturally to this degree, and unfortunately this stuff has been going on for years, as noted in Ian Cummings interview where he discusses how MUT went away from reality long ago. I don't blame people for using it, I blame EA.
Up next in the video series: How to Perfect the Scum Kick
Context: EA diligently studied real NFL games and how kick returners would often sit there like a brain dead turnip with no reaction at all while the ball rolled right past them and down to the 1 yard line. They wanted to give their customers that real life feel inside their game.

It actually doesn't because you're thinking the guy is boosting in reality everyone is stopping to match his movement and he is quickly accelerating. If you slow it down you'll slee when you do it, EVERYONE on the D stops movement for a split second, meanwhile the player speed boosting hits his full speed if he has good ACC. I clearly need to do another video for everyone in here that likes ot call it a glitch showing how easy it is to stop as well so you all can stop fucking crying about "bad programming" while none of you coudl write a basic line of html. As a programmer it's honeslty annoying af how every user ALWAYS thinks they know better but they wouldn't know the first thing about engineering. I used to have to work for "clients" like yourself and they'd all say "hey add this feature" and every time we as devs have to be like have you actually thought this through? and explaing all of the pitfalls and then they go "oh shit I didn't think about that". I am beyond glad that the DEVELOPERS develop the game and not the users. I'm not gonna argue about this being a "glitch" anymore when y'all clearly have no fucking clue what the definition of an actual glitch is. A "glitch" or "bug" is not something you as a user deem to be "bad programming" or "don't like it" or "don't think it's realistic", as a user you have no say in what is a "glitch" or "bug" other than helping to identify one that wasn't foundin testing. A glitch or bug is when the end result of the programming is not as intended, and would get fixed or patched, IE beginning of the season when quiet the crowd glitched out the corner in man (this wasn't intended and nobody tested it to see it was an issue, because why tf would you think to quite the crowd while putting someone in motion lol, so then it was patched). If you want to discuss this call it what it is "WE DON'T LIKE SPEED BOOSTING" that's all it is, it's not a glitch, it's a group of people that don't like it, fine, but stop calling it a "glitch" it's not, at least get your terminology right if you're all going to keep acting like you've done a single day of game development or programming.

Its a glitch dude it's not the acc ratings lmfao

I can't do it myself, but I'm not sure if its a glitch or not. I'm pushing towards not. Watch Barry Sanders run the ball. That is some serious speed boosts.

But asking people if they want to know how to speed boost is like asking a crackhead if he wants to learn how to cook meth 🤣
We'll all show up for this show.
Make it a live pay-per-view event on Netflix during the Superbowl halftime show.
Put me down as RSVP 💯
A crackhead would probably rather have crack

holy shit did you clearly not read what I actually said and just looked at like 1 sentence. I'm done arguing with people who have never programmed a television remote let alone a video game.
