you'd be the 80th person to post one, so go nuts

But asking people if they want to know how to speed boost is like asking a crackhead if he wants to learn how to cook meth 🤣
We'll all show up for this show.
Make it a live pay-per-view event on Netflix during the Superbowl halftime show.
Put me down as RSVP 💯
Lol. FR!

won't be posting mine. I'll be doing it live. I'm going to be discussing more than (use L2 and flick the stick), which isn't even the most affective way to speed boost btw. I'm also going to discuss how COD being a min of 88 is required, but also how the height/weight mechanics affect it. There's a lot of thresholds here that people don't know about. It's not just about speed boost, but also about how to make it easier to trigger it ;)
i watched the video the “boost” looks barely noticeable and wouldnt be needed against the h2h players that can already be defeated by playcalling

that's cause that's not really speed boost

I've been trying to impress the importance of this for what, 1-2 months? I felt very out of practice last evening, after not logging in for a couple/few days... i was failing on 80-90% of my boost attempts. Clearly i need to invest ~10 minutes in practice mode this evening, freshening up a bit. It's just mashing buttons. Everyone has a slightly different manner to try and teach this stuff. I never let off R2 (Sprint) button, but some folks will tell you that's mandatory. Run fast and tap L2 (left trigger) anytime you want to plant and boost. Doing it towards left of screen is slightly different from bursting to right of screen, which is also slightly different from how you want to boost, from under-center, when directly taking handoffs (although this might be the easiest available).

it's DEF noticeable and will basically cause your ball carrier to run away from all defenders, anywhere on the field. Might not seem liek much in a normal speed video, but i assure you it is not only the best skill move in the entire game (jukes, spins, whatever are all mostly garbage this year, although overall pursuit angles in Madden are downright horrendous, so it's trivial to juke any player controller defender out of their shoes), but absolutely essential if you want to compete in MUT.
If you go back and watch the LCQ MCS stream, a kid won his match by returning a walk-off, 4th quarter punt, using Deion Sanders, with little to no time on the clock. The announcers were melting down, everyone in the crowd went wild, somehow EA had to twist that shit into pretending it was a "feature" and not a straight up bug that everyone in the community has been abusing since we reached 90 COD on players.
hackthacode said:The last MCS tournament I forget which MCS player said you just use L2 or Left trigger while changing your direction and my instant reaction was "WRONG". I think it was Lambo that said it, but i've heard multiple top MCS players say this and it's not true, and none of them are good at it. The only one I know who's even close to as good as me at it is Dottimus, when I played him is when I decided I'm getting good at speed boost 😂
I can't tell you how much better i feel. Been cpu solos until L2 breaks and didn't seem right. While i feel like there have been times i see a clear cut boost with R2 and stick movement
hackthacode said:Promise you that doing it with L2 vs the stick is not the same if you do it right. I do it to hit the hole and trust me it's not the same as when i do it with L2
Yea your just moving the stick quickly back and forth between 11 o’clock and 1 😂 it’s not some crazy new thing.
There’s a bunch of different ways to do it the principal is to get your player to change Direction quickly to make it glitch out and speed boost

How do you do it under center?
hackthacode said:if enough people want to learn i'm happy to do a live. I just won't post it cause I know it'll proabably get enough clicks to ruin madden lol
If you ruined Madden, you would be doing all of us a favor.
Post it. Don’t make a glitch the domain of a slightly broader class of the elite. Break the back of EA and shame them into fixing this crap.

I'm down to learn.

gotcha, so just the info that the ebook guys put out

Basically (against better judgement) you want to immediately hold R2 (Sprint) before you're even taking the handoff and mash your stick whatever direction you are heading, between 3 and 4 o'clock if you want to boost right and more liek 8 to 9 o'clock if you're hoping to boost left.
Jump into practice mode, Offense Only and you'll probably start doing it with Stretch runs barely trying. It's much more difficult to get it consistently, especially in the open field, but this is a fantastic place to start. Also works great up the middle, such as Pistol Dive and such. Good luck, I wish they'd patch it, but appears here to stay and can make ANY scheme dominant.

I don't think they had any idea it was even in the game, let alone any clue how to actually patch out these type game breaking bugs and glitches. Uggh. 🤮
