Yesterday when Season 8 dropped I played for a little while and managed to hit level 12 in the season pass and for the weekly goals I had knocked out the sacks and maybe a quarter of the way of the other three and called it a day.
Today is when the magic happened as I get on and get booted off and try again and again and again. You get the idea, but that is not the magical part. Finally after well honestly about two hours of the game bricking me or what ever you call it I managed to get on and thought I should get my daily's done.
I Go into the field pass and it ask me free or paid version and I thought Hmmm, I'm pretty sure I answered this yesterday and went with the free version so I clicked the free version again. Then the magic happened as if I had never played yesterday. My pass was back to square one no level up or anything so I think well maybe I got my season 8 tokens back in my binder and I can use them again. Nope they are not there. I checked my weekly goals and they were back to zero. I then checked the weekly spotlight pass and it did show stats that I played yesterday.
Well I decide to buy a coin pack and start over and well... Every time I click to enter the store it sends me out of the game with a very quick message "You don't have access to this." Now I did check my email and spam box to make sure that I was not banned for something dumb like having a low end colts theme team based on the 2025-2026 season and well no ban or anything. Tried the store again and the same thing happened.
This time I decide to just play a solo game "NOPE! NOT TODAY" is what I thought I heard the game say but maybe just voices in my head. Let's try a challeng.. "ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Can I at least get into the auction house "I'LL ALLOW IT." Back to the store "I SAID NO!"
So I am not sure what to do in season 8 as this new season is really confusing me.
For those wondering... I cleared the ps5 cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I tired superstar, franchise, h2h, even quick play and tried to see my notifications and none of those will allow me in and they boot me out immediately. Yet all my other games are like "HEY GANG HE IS BACK COME ON IN AND JUST RELAX WE GOT YOU."
So today is a no go and I will wait and see what happens tomorrow. If everything gets figured out by then well okay, but if not then I am done for the year.
If EA doesn't change or do something to improve and just sells out then I won't be back. Not because of another country buying in, but because it's becoming a scam of wealthy companies and inverters to lie and cheat the people who put either their time, hard earned money, and just the love for a game to be crapped on go on everyday.
The amount of money made and they can't upgrade servers and fix the game but the store is down and man it's a crisis and it gets repaired in the blink of an eye which is funny but very sad to think about how important that is compared to anything else in the game. EA is not in the game anymore.
I will apologies up front if anyone finds this in bad taste or they don't agree with how I feel about EA and that is perfectly okay as everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
Sorry if my writing is sloppy and dumb but it's been a long day and I wanted to play a few games of madden just to relax earlier today and after I got home but it never happened. So I am a little frustrated and well I never spell check or anything just typed and well have fun and poke fun if you want as I am good with it.
