My thoughts on every new player release. From my brain, straight to the MUT.GG forums.

LTD:

DT Jeffrey Simmons

A LTD going for less than 600k and with 1 AP inside stuff and 1 AP no outsiders? Yes please! 91 strength, 92 power move, 90 tackle, 88 hit power, 90 pursuit, 92 block shed. A must have indeed.

Champions:

QB Justin Herbert

I honestly don't know what I think about him. Fearless and set feet lead as player-specific abilities are nice. 93 throw power, 90 short, 87 medium, 90 deep, 89 throw on run, and 90 throw power are some of the best passing stats in MUT. But his release is Slinger 10. I have yet to play with his Core Elite so I honestly don't know how I'll feel about him.

CB Charles Woodson

The. Best. Corner. In. The. Game. Deep Out Zone KO and Flat Zone KO as player-specific abilities are great. 91 speed, 89 accel, 92 agility, 93 change of direction, 91 jump, incredible general stats. 90 man coverage, 92 zone coverage, the best in the game. His price is gonna lower soon and I will pick him up and I will have lots and lots and lots of fun with him.

Mentors:

This a great concept. The players themselves are pretty nice (MLB Tremaine Edmunds, QB Justin Fields, CB Sauce Gardner, HB Cordarrelle Patterson). But why is Sauce mentoring J.J. Watt? I know I'm being picky but it doesn't make sense at all lol. And it's nice that they get boosts for variant card art and they boost other players as well.

Other 88s:

Some great selections for these players. DeForest Buckner and either Orlando Brown or Frank Ragnow will be nice pickups from House Rules. Harrison Smith, D.J. Moore, J.J. Watt, Evan Engram, and Cole Holcomb are also pretty nice.

Lower Elites:

Not really gonna do anything with them other than selling them and using them in sets. But Robert Hunt, Jakob Johnson, Drake London, and Greedy Williams getting little upgrades is nice.
