They released a epic strategy exchange set, two blues for 1 purple in the sets. Market is now flooded with purples again and people are already undercutting and bringing prices down again.

This thing with these quicksell tim things that glitched might turn into some make rights though i guess. Some people were buying purples from the block and they turned into this and they can't be used for anything only quicksold for 40k or auctioned. I stocked up on a bunch in case we end up getting a good makeright set for them.

In MUT 25 I sold some weird item that was appropriately and yet vaguely titled Uncommon Strategy Item. I sold it for several hundred thousand coins because it was a curiosity, and someone evidently thought it was worth more than I thought it was worth.

I unfortunately was late to the party. I have been saving all my strats and checking basically everyday waiting for the epic strat sets and I was even home yesterday and forgot. I was able to make 29 epics but most were team affinity and they were close to min by the time I was able to sell. Super bummed but at least made some coins.

ugh.... that sucks, man. yeah with work and life, i'm always late to the party as well. just got lucky last night and extra lucky that the set spit out 50% stat strats vs. team affinities for me. if you didnt sell em off, maybe you can catch the legendary sets early when they release. i'm holding mine for that.

Hi guys, sorry to spam but the market (for PC) is still wide open to essentially market making. Truly it is baffling. I’m tired of flooding the AH so here’s the braindead way (i.e the simplest way i.e the only way that isn’t above my head) to sell the epic strats. Do keep in mind that based on others’ past experiences working the AH esp. with strat cards there is a chance you’ll get banned (not my experience ce, yet):

- buy strat item from store or from AH if price for silver is 3K~ 

- go to sets and build and build til you get your epics 

- if you see epic strat items on the AH underpriced AND NOT LISTED IN VOLUME buy them up so the sheep don’t ruin the market 
- always keep the bid at a reasonable price with the buy now slightly above retail. People get in their feelings while in a bidding war (aka me lols) and will buy now to “win” the bid. Like a fucking dumbass (again, me)

- keep auction time an hour long for non team affinities. The team ones will sell, it just takes time for obvious reasons 

Again, this is for PC which I imagine isn’t even a third of the Xbox / PS MUT community, so YMMV. To most of you I’m sure this advice is obvious, but for those that it’s not I hope this helps!

😂😂 I bought one of these by accident when i was trying to snipe a DB epic it was probably from op haha. My own fault but ya i had no clue what to do with it. Left it on lowest price for 24 hours no one bought it so i quicksold to recoup 60% of my money from it.

I had 400-500 rare strategy items and exchanged them all. I’ve done this with every new strategy set that has dropped for the past 3-4 years and have never been banned. These people getting banned 100% did some shady stuff. Or they bought cards and sold them for 300-500% of their actual value (which is bs l but at the same time they’re playing with fire trying to make that much profit)

Wish i could have done that (auction my extras / semi-valuable strategy items) -- had seventy (70) Daily Strategy items saved up... ripped them all, zero purples, just one blue.  Turned em all into various sets... didn't see any Quicksell Tim pop out, i was curious, but unsure they exist (from sets).

I really hope you avoid the EA bot bans.  I was semi-convinced that punting purple Strategy items for ~449k a while back might have tripped me up.  Either that, or market fall-out and fluctuations from post-Blitz crash are the other potential / leading candidate.  Ahh welll, fuck this bullshit.  Keep fighting the good fight, brother.

This is terrible line of thinking -- absolute victim blaming.  Because EA is perfect and they have coded their game to be rock-solid stable, no bugs, or glitches, or inconsistencies, riiight?

Glad you've managed to avoid the dreaded ban-hammer... for now.  Wouldn't wish that fate on anyone, including those who do "shady stuff" -- can you define this, please?  How could buying (or selling) virtual playing cards within a system where EA literally sets both the minimum and maximum values be termed "shady"?  I get it, there's obvious coin sellers out there, but we didn't create this system, we don't make the rules.  Nothing free about these tightly controlled markets.

Bills epic strat is missing from the PC market. Pretty baseless take but in any case I wonder if Quicksell Tim is supposed to be Billy B
