What do I do here? Run Stuffer, Outside Stuff, Inside Stuff, Out My Way, Reinforcement. What more can I do?

Tell EA that we shouldn't need abilities to tackle effectively.
it’s July 13th
you literally can’t do more then what you have above

In House Rules I’ve gotten pretty good at keeping the runs under 15 yds so they don’t get any extra points besides the TD’s. Then I put up a bunch of points on offense and by that time they don’t have enough time left to get back down the field with their run scheme. They will usually try to throw it and I will Intercept it and either score some more points or just finish the game on offense.
But back to your question, Run Stuffer or Reinforcement seem to be the best abilities for strictly stopping the run. Obviously Secure Tackler or Tackle Supreme is a necessity unless you run Enforcer Supreme and just hit stick every time.
4-3 Over works well against I-form and strong sets
3-4 odd works well against singleback sets

Thanks for that last part. I would shift linebackers in some cases, but it's good to know there are some alignments that just work because Madden.

Yeah I always spread the LB’s in run defense and shift the d-line based on the opponents tendencies but it’s easy to shift the wrong way.
Also I run Cover 3 in both formations because there’s a lot of Play Action cheesers and Cover 2 doesn’t cover the sidelines well enough. Always have to watch out for the crossers with Play Action as that is the most common read for these abusers.
4-3 under i think it is.... base align cover 4, pinch the linebackers up and pray

This is the way. Although, only thing i'm doing differently is coming out in 3-4 Odd, Cover 4 Drop, then i spread linebackers and press my defense and HOPE (or pray, if yer into that) my defenders can stay on their feet. It's basically a requirement to shoot the gap and at least get a hand on the ball carrier... even making them stumble for a brief second (especially if they lack Balance Beam) can be the difference between a stop / short gain and a potential house call, or 2 points.
I try to have Run Stuffer, if feasible, or at the very least i've got Reinforcement on all of my linebackers. Even then, it only gives us a chance against all the Vanguard cheese. When there's 8 dudes constantly crashing down on us, all with Vanguards, at least a couple/few of them are going to trigger on most plays. If i'm really struggling against the run, i'll blitz all of my linebackers and control a weak side Safety and perform the same routine, try to shoot the gap and prevent the ball carrier from getting to the edge. Your USER has to be involved in run defense. If you do find yourself engaged with a blocker (and still on your feet), make sure you are hitting UP on the right analogue stick, to try and force yourself to disengage from the block. You should notice that happen much quicker if you are USERing someone liek Gronk, with Run Stuffer + Reinforcement combo.
This is entirely optional, but if you find yourself with extra AP on defense you could also begin adding some Stonewall abilities, which will ensure you win those tackle battles. Cover 4 should have your Safeties take their first step down, towards filling their respective run fits, versus backwards into coverage.
And don't be shy about running Pinch Buck 0 if that's what it takes.
It's me!!
I'm One-Dimensional Runners!!!!

I suggest you get your RP players and wait for madden 26
Are we at all surprised though? A majority of this community have become, for lack of a better word, brain dead worms who just copy and paste what they see...i blame EA for no originality but also blame the community because nobody is breaking their fingers telling them they have to act like wild animals over video games. Its sad that nobody can just play the game anymore without being ridiculed, taunted or belittled. Wtf happened to us as a community?
