So i finally got my DRC after having to play 25 mind numbing games.

Just finished and even throwing check downs and chewing clock every play it was god awful. And i thought someone had said he takes 7k karats to fully upgrade. HE TAKES OVER 10K! Thats basically 400k in coins to buy players to quicksell to upgrade him. Im not doing it. I earned just below 7k in karats doing the solos,objectives, and cpu event. His stats dont even get that much better when you upgrade him. I do have a question though. What if i wait until karats arent a currency anymore? Will he just switch to being upgraded by training?

I remember with zero chill cards like Tim Tebow, after the event ended you could upgrade him with training. that will likely be the case here as well. Don't expect it to be cheap though, it will probably cost a similar value to the 7k karats after  sugar rush ends.

Take a wild guess, My first run i had 5 wins and EA's servers did what EA's servers are known to do and booted me. And you dont just need 20 wins. You have to go 10-0 twice.

I got the DRC reward but I haven’t opened the pack yet. I’m hoping we get an  even better reward player after another Sugar Rush drop. DRC would be cool but I don’t really have a big need at CB.

Also I agree it’s some BS that it requires that much currency to upgrade the event player. I have plenty of coins but I’d rather use them on actionable players instead of automatically losing coins upgrading “free” players.

DRC paired with CS Howie Long and RoH Too Tall becomes a 6’4” 99 speed, acc, mcv, zcv CB with season 7+8 buckets. If you have all 3, he’s worth the Karrots imo.

Only did 12 games so far.  It’s painful.  Can only do about 2 or 3 a day.
