Yes , unless I'm not paying attention I bag this and then they usually quit , occasionally I'm in la la land and they get me though .

Hit the nail on the head with this one.
Feels like the gameplay is just much, much different. It's like the Twilight Zone of Madden - passes that I usually complete get knocked out; deep passes that I usually defend get wide open. I just don't get it.

Yep, and results in some fumbles as well, ball is behind the line of scrimmage.....this is pretty much one of the ways my man Zan showed to stop these double passes also.
This is also why man cvg is probably not a bad move in this mode if you have the right cards/abilities (like Jalen with 0 AP flat, mid, and deep route KOs for example)

I'm hopeful after a good 24 hrs of the 'ol double pass, people will figure out how to stop it (as stated and shown here in this thread), and people will get off of it. Feel like that happened a few months ago when everyone wanted to run it out of bunch strong. Now the pistol formation has entered the chat.
Anytime you have to predicate your defense on stopping one broken mechanic, it can get old quick.
