Showtime > every other game mode right now

the amount of coins you can make from showtime event has made the other modes pointless.  Made close to 4m already

I had full intentions on this being my last promo (combine), and bled my coins down to 44k getting anyone and everyone I could think of and want to try out for a few weeks before hanging it up. 

After a Friday night and Sat sporadically throughout the day, I’m now at a shade under 6m. Just playing this mode

These LTM modes are great for coin making and I like the varying rule sets to keep it fresh. My only gripe is the All Pro difficulty. The fluke and BS at times is a little much for my taste compared to All Madden.

It's sweaty but it's great for coins like you said. Probably made around 4-5m with another 2m from packs sitting in the binder while having my team fully upgraded. 

Honestly has made me a better player too. I had to learn how to counter some of the most glitched out, cheesy plays there are. I'm not complaining though. It's taught me route combos and concepts I didn't know about before.

definitel, gonna grind it out till it ends.  All pro is def the worst part about it

this go around is MUCH better than the last one.

To bad they don't every put any of the modes where you can actually earn good rewards as squads as well. 

Playing solo, is the most mind numbing thing, playing squads is at least fun. 

I'm hoping next year they add ranked and other modes to squads.

Must be nice to have an elite squad with a bunch of KO’s and elite receiver abilities doing all the work for you, along with glitchy play-flipping and broken plays getting guys wide open. 

Cheaters make millions and rub it in the face of everyone else, and then jump on the next gravy train, repeat. MUT rewards antisocial gamers.

Nah, dude, for those of us that are decent people with teams that got crushed in the most recent power creep wave, Showtime Showdown has been a sweaty, cheesy nightmare of a mode, with zero fun, and zero chance for advancing.

If i could win more than 3 games at a time I would agree with you lol. I know, skill issue, but it is what it is. It's still more fun than standard seasons and obviously lucrative if you can hang in there.

I'm still terrible at the game.  After a month (or two) of basically only playing Squads, where i'm defensive coordinator, well... my offense has been sputtering quite a bit.  Finally managed to win a couple (9-0 Showtime Showdown runs) last week, but have yet to complete one this week.  I'll go 6-0, then a dude heaves up a 70 yard prayer, into triple coverage... and catches it, only to end my hopes and dreams.  Suffered another disconnect/Desynch loss late last evening, thankfully i was only 2-0 on that run.

Will keep trying, not really feeling any other game modes (except Squads) at the moment, so Showtime Showdown it is.  Time for me to git gud.

I feel you there, I only play DC in squads as well. Or if we play trios I'll switch just not to be greedy, but even then I'm just coach lol

Squads with has totally ruined me -- the rest of the game modes are significantly less fun since I managed to stumble my way into our little Squads trio.  I'm the pay pig of the crew, so I got promoted to DC, but due to the crazy volume of random Desynchs and disconnects, the Head Coach and i have come to use the same playbook, so either of us can fill in that role, in a pinch.  Through no fault of our own, it's been nearly impossible for me to remain in Legends tier Squads play, because of the constant disconnects when there's six guys connected to the same buggy ass game.

I did have a handful of fun Showtime Showdown (House Rules) games last evening, which followed the same/similar pattern.  I'd start off slow, giving up a big score (or two) early on, only to crawl and scratch my way back, go secure a 17-15 win, or something extremely close.  Overall, it's just a lot of the same cheese, but nowhere near as miserable as Ranked has been in recent months.  I might try to get back into MUT Champs or finally try out Gauntlet, just to see how i match up, but for the moment i'm determined to figure out how to go 9-0 in House Rules for this week.  Clearly skill gap issues on my part.  I'd prefer normal simulation fatball, but that's apparently out of the question.  As long as games are somewhat competitive, i'm usually content.

I hate it but I'm just an average player.   finally had a streak going over weekend and got hit with double pass.  Made a bad read,  he then hit another double pass i covered one of the receivers but another was all alone.. can't win more than 3

I went something like 23-2 last week but this week with the new rules I've been struggling. Got to 6-0 twice and then lost my game 7. This week seems much more sweaty and trying to score in 7 plays against constant loop blitzers has been tough for me. If you're good, I bet this mode is just printing coins lmao

Champs doesnt give you a auction player anymore, its BND

And Gauntlet is impossble to win 10 games
